Prettiest Present - Moon jewellery! Love it! You look up the moon phase on a special date and buy the jewellery to commemorate that date.

The store doesn't have an exact closing date but it won't be very long. Currently seasonal items are 60-70% off (some seriously cute Xmas décor and ornaments) and the remainder of the store is 20-30% off. They have really cute jewellery and unique items for special gifts. I really like their line of moon necklaces/bracelets where you pick the phase of the moon on a special date (birth, death, wedding, etc.) and can wear it as jewellery. I also like their sparkly Swarovski crystal bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Some stuff here for sure can be found elsewhere or online for less but that's not the point of a boutique store. It's getting to go somewhere and browse through various collections to find the perfect gift for someone special. If you're a fan of s'well bottles, they still have a fairly good collection of unique ones and at 20% off you're paying a fair price for the designer s'wells. (Note you can get plain jane ones at Costco for $30) but the ones here are GORGEOUS and make me smile. They're collection of wrapping papers and tissues is extensive and are sure to be able to wrap your gift to fit any occasion or theme. Seriously gonna miss the Prettiest Present!

Well I just adore this store!…read more Often you walk into gift shops, and yes, everything is lovely but you just don't really see anything practical; or everything is really expensive, or really niche. But at the Prettiest Present they really have a great variety of really useful gifts! From presents for those pooch peeps, to culinary and kitchen gadgets - as well as neat necessities. Then there are the baby gifts, the seasonal decor for your own abode, a wall of tempting teas and some really unique jewelry. And then the pies de resistance... they have the most fabulous collection of gift bags, gift boxes and paper so that when you find that perfect present you can also wrap it up without having to go to another store! Love it!! Although, I do not remember seeing ribbon or cards, I could be wrong, or maybe that's just asking for the moon. Pro Tip: Make sure to go into the basement! Often you go into a store like this and assume that down the steps is just a small smattering of a few other things. But in this case the basement is the majority of the shop. It is at least 3x larger then the upstairs portion. Happy shopping!

I was greeted right as I was coming in the door and enjoyed a brief discussion with the owner about the weather and the Fringe festival before scoping out the items he has for sale. The store is absolutely brimming with the most beautiful art, gift ware, and jewelry all of which is created by fellow Canadians. I picked out a gorgeous pair of really detailed seahorse earrings made in Victoria for $29.00. Admittedly the prices are a bit high on certain things but if your concerned with getting quality goods as well as shopping locally from a store that really values your business I think it is worth it here. I will definitely be back and if you make alot of trips to our downtown core I sincerely hope you will pay Made In Canada a visit as well.

Despite the address being on 122 St, it's actually located in a ground floor suite right on 121 St right across from the Brewery District, close-ish to 104 Ave. There is angled parking out front. It's a cute and quaint little boutique filled with treasures beautifully displayed. My favourite was a selection of jewelry tucked in between pages of an antique novel by the door (when you see it, you'll understand). There was inspirational home decor, some cool stuff like concrete diamonds, some baby and kid's clothing (including these adorable baby headbands), lots of unique jewelry, cool razors, little succulents.. It's a bit like shopping at a local market but with everything in one pretty place. There is even a little coffee corner at the back. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. I would definitely recommend popping if you're looking for some unique gifts.

This shop curates a wide variety of stuff that's ideal for gift giving. It's hard not to go overboard ordering just one more cute thing. I really like their needlework kits, greeting cards, and home decor items. Prices are not bargain basement so be warned that a shopping spree can add up fast! Still, shopping local has its own rewards and I am glad that this quirky little place has earned such a large following that it's still standing after all the economic challenges of the pandemic and beyond. Hard to explain, but the inventory just has an Edmonton feel to it -- check it out and see if you agree!

The greetings cards are funny, shocking and perfect for any pal with a sense of humour. They sell light boxes, neon signs and trinket holders in weird shapes. What's not to love. Every single thing in this store is so damn cute, including the owner. She was funny, had great conversation and told us lots about the makers and various store items. Can't wait to go back and buy all the things!

Some of the items featured include canvas art, figurines, jewelry, scarves, and porcelain dolls. I was pretty impressed they had a nice selection of Ty beanie babies as well which are harder to find now that the craze for those has calmed down. Some of the collectibles were of fairly high quality from brand names I recognized like Bearington Bears and others seemed more like made in China type things but everything regardless of where it comes from is fairly nice and none of the prices seemed budget breaking. There doesn't really seem like there is too much in that mall, but this store makes up for everything. Come To The Garden is a very cute little place where you can find some decorative items. If you are religious then there's some of stuff for you, including angel figurines, books and CD's on religious themes. Even if you're not religious but like inspirational sayings on coasters, canvas ($20) or wood boards ($8) then this is the place to pick some up. They had some really great pieces for the home; you could put them up somewhere in your house and have a kind of motto for your family or home. They had some unique pieces of jewelry made from stone and glass. Oh, I found some really great photos that they had. They were these beautiful pictures of these big strong trees and they were kind of faded in color to make it antique looking; they came in these really nice simple wooden frames. These photos where not too big (I don't know the dimensions) but they were about $16 each. The people who worked there, I don't know if they were the owners or not, but they were really nice. The store was filled to the rim with things, so you can take your time and look around. I would advice you to be careful and try not to knock anything down; the store is a tight fit if you have a big bag like I do.

I also got a top and a business jacket/sweater which I adore from the sales rack! The quality is awesome and the style of the garments is great too -- most are machine washable and many of the dresses have pockets. The shop also stocks other local art and jewelry. Sabrina stocks some of their jewelry and accessories. I'd describe the fashions as urban casual with a nostalgic homemade feel. If you've ever shopped at Nokomis, on Whyte Ave., the clothes remind me a bit of theirs. In fact, before she had her own shop she used to sell out of there. Her apparel is made of comfortable materials and aren't too tailored, so they are complimentary to all body shapes. She loves vibrant colours and pretty, classic cuts with a bit of an edge.
