Dr Pride is extremely patient and kind, and I did not feel rushed through our appointment at all. He had a nurse handle the silly things like blood pressure or whatever, but the rest of the time he asked me questions and really listened to my answers. Instead, billing charges me for something I did not agree to or believe I needed, though as the person in billing wasn't actually present, she explains that she can't know what actually happened and can only read the codes (i.e. no point in talking about it to her). People who were present at the exam are apparently too busy to ever give any why for disregarding what I asked for. I don't know if I would have agreed to any test(s) if the doctor had explained why he wanted to diverge from my reason for visiting and do additional costly work, but I was never offered any choice in the matter. Unfortunately, I have to start over and find a better practice for me.
