My Whirlpool 6-year-old Whirlpool dryer started making the loud squeaking/squealing sound like many other reviews indicated. Nicolas responded promptly to my inquiry and arrived the same afternoon. He very quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the parts, cleaned out the dryer, and cleared the vents. Quote was given upfront, reasonable, and was all-in. We hired Nick to fix our GE Oven and install a new range top we bought. Nick ordered the parts to fix the oven and he got both jobs done quickly. When he installed the range top he spent extra time to make sure the gas line is installed properly and there's no leaks. We are very happy with his job and the price was very reasonable. Nicolas was excellent! Our Speed queen dryer stopped spinning. I found Nick on Apple maps nearby and he had a 4.9 rating. I called for service and he was at my house in under two hours. He Diagnosed the problem in under 15 minutes. He ordered the parts and fixed my dryer the next day. Couldn't be happier. It's hard to find a good appliance repairman. Nick came by next day after I posted late at night about my fridge throwing an error message and no longer producing ice. Nick responded to my project request on here within minutes and set up and appointment for early the next day. Nick was prompt for each visit, which honestly I was shocked. Usually when given a time frame of a couple of hours, most of the time I am waiting past the promised time. But not Nick! He was on time and very professional. He listened to my concerns and took the time to explain what was wrong. My GE washer stopped working at the start of a cycle, and I had called around and was getting denied any help due to the fact that my washer and dryer were located on the 2nd floor, in a closet, and they were separate units but stacked on top of each other. Every handyman, including GE, told me they couldn't help or I had to unload the washer and dryer and pull it out of the closet BEFORE they can come out!! I felt defeated and was in tears trying to find the help!! Thankfully I found Nicolas Appliance Fix, explained the situation and received a call back telling me that they would come out!!! He ordered the parts, and took his time to fix it. Seriously the best service! Thank you so much for helping me out! I will 1000% recommend you to all my friends and family! Longer: Dryer is 5 years old, and wouldnt spin. Called samsung, they told me warranty is only 1 yr, so its not coverd, but referred me to two authorized repair shops. Both have horrible reviews on yelp. Still called them, and they never even called me back to setup the repair visit. Called David's, and a nice lady(Bill's wife?) called me back in about an hour, and we booked our time slot for quote/repair. I was given a 3-4 hour window in which they would show up... which makes sense considering, there's no way to know for certain how long a repair visit before mine will take. Asked them to give me a call on the way. Bill (business owner) personally made the trip and called me on his way as promised. When Bill got here, i explained the issue, and he guessed it would likely be one of two problems based on his 20+ years of experience. He also told me what each of those would cost to repair. Upon opening up my dryer, he was correct, and it was one of those two problems. My belt tensioner pulley had broken and he replaced with an upgraded one and even showed me how the new part was more efficient. Whole affair took maybe 30 mintues, including Bill's courteous vaccuuming of lint inside the body of the dryer. Dryer now works great, and it was a very pleasant experience. Bill was courteous, professional, and just a nice guy. On top of everything else, i told bill i was having a minor issue with my second fridge and he actually explained what the problem was and taught me how to fix it! He said it was an easy fix, and since that kind of problem can be a chronic issue, he felt it just made more sense to explain to me how to fix it so i can handle it in the future. Did not charge me a penny for that nugget of info. Now i know how to keep my dedicated beer fridge in good order. THanks Bill!

I was very hesitant trying out anyone random on Yelp since I needed one right away. Tuesday morning, after speaking to at least four companies, based on their initial fee, response time, and availability, I'm so glad I went with Appliance Repair SFM. Jake was our technician and I was impressed how he quickly started to take apart the dryer and inspect what was wrong with it. I was anticipating the dreadful answer of buying a new one, and thankfully that wasn't the outcome. Jake showed me that the belt was worn out and the inside of the drum that had some type of plastic covering over the metal was gone and needed replacing, it also needed a good cleaning. Jake told me how much parts were plus labor, which was reasonable rather than buying a new dryer! Since he had to order parts, he would finish the project by Thursday or Friday and he gave me his business card if I had additional questions. I didn't hear from Jake on Wednesday, so I called him, and he picked up! He said the parts weren't in yet and he'd contact me on Thursday, which he did, in addition to setting up a time on Friday he'd come by to complete the project. In conclusion, Jake was a pleasure to work with. He's responsive, respectful, honest, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I'd definitely contact him again if I do have other repairs needed.

Requested got response right away. Gave info over yelp got reasonable low quote for house call srvc charge applied to cost of job same day availability. Nicholas was professional explained issue gave more accurate quote for repair but changed price after needing to replace part. Dishwasher was not draining thought was clogged hose originally after opening up found motor pump needed to be replaced had on hand correct part. Repair took more time he was charging per hour. Price was still reasonable after discussion he lowered price alittle. Has been a couple of months dishwasher working well. Will call again for other repairs. He can repair fridge or setup washer dryer as well. This is a newer business he is self employed willing to work with customer. Would suggest adding drop cloth for water appliance repairs as our floor was wet we had to look for old towels to soak up not readily handy. This would be key for better customer service repair. read more

Update 1/8/26 had another company come to my house , Not only was it only a clogged drain filter that was causing the issue when your technician came out to my home I told him I felt like it was the drain pump filter that was clogged. I had washed a floor mat that was extremely lint filled, and it sounded like it was struggling to drain. Your technician did not even takeoff the back of the washer the top of the washer or even look for a filter. In fact when I asked him that question he said no this washer does not have a filter yesterday Steve's appliance came to my home, took the washer back off. Found the filter. Found the drain pump clean both of them and voilà my washer worked again. I questioned your ability to diagnose problems considering you wanted to put in a new drain pump when that wasn't even the issue I again do not recommend this company. read more

It was nice that they send a link to track the technician but I don't think it was working. Good thing Steve called ahead and informed me he was due to arrive in 30 minutes. He arrived along time and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a bad compressor which required about a two order window. Steve was very professional and advised to contact the manufacturer to see if it was under warranty. After contacting the manufacturer it was still under warranty but they require a service technician in their network to come out and diagnosed which would cost $145 and then they would order the parts. So glad JEA's service call was $50. Otherwise, I would have used JEA to continue the repair but it would cost me over $900.
