Nico was a great photographer to work with during our wedding with Electra cruises. All our photos turned out great and he really knew the different poses that would work well for the venue. All our photos that were done prior to the wedding starting were beautiful. And our photos on the bow of our boat turned out great too. A few things that I wish I would have done was have guests come up to the bow (or stern.. not sure which) of the boat and take photos with us. At more traditional wedding settings there is usually photos of each table with the bride/groom, but because of the set up on the Athena boat it was hard to do. If I could turn back time, I would have loved if our DJ announced for different families to come up and take photos with us. I'm sure if I talked to Nico and the DJ ahead of time about this, we could have organized it better! We opted for the upgraded package which included the extra time before the wedding, and also a photo book. Nico was very kind and easy going. He was a no fuss photographer that really knew when and where to take the best photos for our venue. He was also very courteous with keeping me informed of when photos would be ready. and he mailed us a USB of all the photos a few months after the wedding, and then he mailed out our photo book about a month after that. Nice guy and very pleasant to have at an event, but not impressed with the photos he did of our wedding. Most of the group/family photos were blown out. Since this was on Electra cruises, I would think he would be prepared for the tricky lighting and plan posed shots accordingly. We didn't get any family or group photos worthy of framing, but we did get a few good ones of just us. My maid of honor is a photographer who does occasional weddings and was disappointed by the photos as well. Maybe you have to get an upgraded package to get photos that look more professional. read more

I got married in October 2015 and had the pleasure of meeting Nico thru Electra Cruises. He did our engagement, wedding and my boudoir pictures. The boudoir photo session came first. I was super nervous because it was the first time I had ever taken "sexy" pictures but, Nico was totally professional and he made sure the poses were on point. He guided me step by step on how to pose, stand, sit, smile, suck it in and stick it out...lol My husband loved all the photos :) Next came the engagement pictures at Laguna Beach. Beautiful setting! He was so fun to work with. Even my husband had a good time being a model. Finally came our wedding day and by this time, working with Nico was like working with one of my good friends. He worked his tail off making sure he got all the shots I wanted. Our wedding day went by so quickly and although I did my best to live in the moment and take it all in, there were still moments that were a blur to me. Our photos truly tell ever moment of our wedding. Nico did an amazing job in capturing ever detail especially of our Coptic Orthodox Christian Wedding (which had a lot of details). We got married on Eternity through Electra Cruises and saw one of Nico's photos when in the office setting our date. I knew I wanted him for our wedding photos. Nico does a great job of making all your photos look fresh and he is so comfortable to work with. I am not one to like to be photographed, but it was easy to relax with Nico and he is able to capture truly unique shots. With Nico, we were able to have an engagement shoot as well and we had one of those photos blown up to display during boarding on the wedding day. On wedding day, photos started when makeup and hair were adding final touches and he was with us throughout the entire day (even caught some drunken shenanigans lol). We just received them all and have a ton of favorites. He is preparing a board photo-book for us and can't wait to see that. Lincoln (Nico) did a couple of photo shoots for me this past year - pregnancy and newborn. He was so patient and made things go very smoothly. I was a bit uncomfortable at first when prepping for my pregnancy photos given the skin exposure, however he made it very easy and made sure I was okay with each shoot. He is very creative and is such a wonderful photographer. I got many compliments on both shoots from friends and relatives.
