Taylor's Ice cream - Grasshopper pie

Ice Cream and service was not the best that night but sometimes what makes a place great is how issues or when problems arise how it is handled. Management came over to make it right. Top notch service and am looking forward to coming back with friends for an evening of treats and games.

I've passed this little shop a million times and I would mention how I'd like to check it out, but…read morenever got around to it. So, me and the family went to check it out Mother's day but the line was long and we didn't want to wait for basic Ice Cream so we left. We decided to come back the during the weekday and there was no line. We walk up to the front and take a look at the menu and realize they have way more than "basic ice cream," actually there's nothing basic about the ice cream or the food! I got a Grasshopper pie cone and it was crazy good. It had mint chocolate chip, my fave, and brownie pieces. Drooling looking at this thing! My mate got an ice cream sandwich and the dope thing about their ice cream sandwiches is that you pick the ice cream and they make it on the spot! I also ordered a half pound cheese burger with chili, xtra pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. The bun was toasted, the meat was good, seasoned and juicy, the lettuce was fresh and the pickles were huge! I couldn't finish the whole thing, but my mate took care the rest for me. We both thought it was really good and this might be one of our summer go to when coming in this area. The place can be easy too pass because it's further back off the road but you can't miss the sign or the crowd in the parking lot. There is plenty of parking and seating for the family, along with a nice size lawn so maybe a blanket could be thrown down too. The staff is nice and the prices were really good. $15 for a 1/2 lb burger, 2 scoop cone and an ice cream sandwich. We all were happy with the taste and price and we will be coming back often.

They didn't sell any ice cream but they told us about What's the Scoop. We walked down a little ways and ran right into it. It was busy! So many people out enjoying the night and their sweet treats. There were a good amount of tables to sit at. I appreciate the big umbrellas! You can enjoy your cold treat without the hot sun beating down on you. There were big menu boards and lists of ice cream available. There are so many options! There's ice cream, Dole Whip, milk shakes, sundaes. So many goodies to pick from. There was also a non dairy cookies and cream available. The cherry Italian ice listed so that was my pick. My daughter got a small scoop of brownie batter. I ordered a kid's scoop of the cherry Italian ice. Holy cow! I thought my daughter ordered a double scoop but it was their small portion. My kid's scoop would blow competitors out of the water. My scoop was huge for a kid's scoop. In most ice cream joints, my scoop would be considered a small. The brownie batter was very chocolatey! It was very creamy was well. The cherry Italian ice was very vibrant in color. It was also very flavorful. We sat at a cute table on the sidewalk next to the street and enjoyed our goodies. This town is something you see in Hallmark movies and this ice cream joint fits right in it. It's cute, local and they serve some yummy goodies. The staff is really sweet. It's hard not to fall in love with this place. I look forward having goodies here all week.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and great. This place tends to get busy, although the line moves fast. There is no indoor seating at this location, the seating is outside. The area does get packed. It is a pet-friendly area, which is good. Overall, a nice ambiance. My aunt did feel it was more on the pricier side which is why I deducted a star. The great thing is everyone enjoyed the ice cream, we just wish the ice cream was homemade.

My bowl had rice, onions, peppers and beans, the chicken as well as corn salsa and pico de gallo. I got sour cream on the side. Bottled sofa, fountain soda, margaritas and bottled beer are available but I opted to get a cup for water. The bowl could easily have fed at least 2 people. Everything was hot, the chicken was nicely seasoned and the sour cream was good and thick, the kind that stayed on the food rather than melting into it. Since it's the food hall, you get your food bagged to go but there are plenty of tables and areas to eat that accommodate all of the restaurants in the hall. There are also several fountain soda machines and condiment/utensil stations and trash receptacles. People are expected to clean up their area but there was someone making sure tables and areas stayed clean. A great simple meal and place to regroup while not being too far away from the action.

Review for the food court in Turning Stone…read more I tried a roast beef sandwich from the deli, roast beef was good and pretty rare but bread was a little stale and sandwich was just really dry. I asked for oil and vinegar on it and the kid working there said, "like thousand island dressing?" No, not quite just olive oil and vinegar - pretty standard on a sandwich from a deli. Also ate at Bad Burro Taco - burrito bowl was only $9 and could easily feed 2 or 1 massive portion. The pork was tasty but the chicken had no seasoning on it and tasted boiled and was very wet like it was sitting in water. Good value but not the best tasting food. The staff that waited on me were great - 4 stars for them, very polite and efficient.
