I had the pleasure of working with Nicky Avalo Studios and WOW, what a dream team of incredible folks! I submitted a request directly through Yelp and heard back from Nicky so quickly. From the get go, he was responsive, excited to work together, and eager to make sure the DJ/vibe/music were all perfect for the occasion. We set up a call right away where we narrowed down all details and was able to pass along any major do's/don'ts I had in terms of the music, which I really appreciated. I had a lot of flexibility when it came to the event, but it was nice to know that the option was there for those who do have specific requests. On the day of the event, Nicky and his team arrived early to set up and make sure music was going when guests arrived. DJ Blenz was freaking fantastic at hyping up the crowd and getting people excited! Despite being an uncomfortably hot day, DJ Blenz + Nicky were outside in the *direct* sunlight keeping the party going, and I never once heard them complain. I truly can't recommend Nicky Avalo and his team enough! An easy 5 stars. I hope to work with them again in the future! read more

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Nicky and his team went above and beyond to make our special day even better than we could've ever envisioned it. They offer anything and everything you could possibly think of for your big day and work with you to customize every detail to fit your exact needs. Nicky is so easy to work with, he is super friendly, professional and it felt like I've known him for years. We had very specific needs for our string quartet, had multiple areas for sound and mics at our venue, we also wanted a specific song list for the DJ... and every single request was done to PERFECTION, thank you! We danced on the clouds, which was MAGICAL, definitely add this when booking Nicky and his team, a must! Also, I have to give a huge shoutout to DJ JBlendz (Joe), he has to be the BEST DJ I've ever heard at a wedding! He was enthusiastic, played all of our requests, had the smoothest transitions, read the room better than anyone, and even added his own touch to make the night an absolute blast. Amazing guy too! Cannot thank Nicky and DJ Andrea for literally saving our wedding. Our original DJ cancelled the day of our wedding (he was stuck out of town), and Nicky's team came to the rescue. Not only did they agree to step in, but they did so masterfully. With only 4 hours to prepare, Andrea took our planning sheet and executed some incredibly difficult requests (Ex. multiple song bits strung together for different older couples' anniversaries). When we heard our original DJ cancelled, we basically told ourselves none of our "custom" requests would be done - so it was incredible that Andrea was able to do it. Beyond that, Andrea is simply an incredible DJ in general. Maybe we are biased because we hand-picked some of the songs, but the way she stacked songs together and transitioned through them kept the energy going literally all night. My wife and I had some bets on whether some of our more "shy" guests would hit the dance floor, and turns out - every single one of them did. Our only regret was that we did not book Nicky and Andrea to begin with. read more

We loved the Nicky Avalo Studios' Ambience package, as it gave us exactly what we were looking for with DJ services for our wedding. My husband and I both love music and can also be picky about it, so we loved being able to compile our own playlists while still having an MC take charge of everything so we didn't have to worry about it throughout the night. DJ Redd was excellent. He checked in with us regularly and made sure we were happy with how things were going, as well as remembering any and all announcements we requested. He brought a great energy to the reception. We also used their photobooth services. I loved receiving the scrapbook and flash drive with a copy of everyone's photos. However, the machine was having some issues earlier in the night, and some guests did complain to us later that they never got their copies of their photo strip amid some miscommunications. Regardless, we would recommend Nicky Avalo for DJ services especially. In fact, we already had one friend take our recommendation who also loved having them at their wedding. 4.5 stars. read more

Wow! From start to finish, Nick has been such a pleasure to work with! He is the most pleasant and professional business man I have ever met. He is very responsive and I enjoy that his communications are done via phone call. I felt so confident leading up to the wedding because I knew he was on the same page and the day was going to be just perfect. I was so jazzed that not only was Nick himself was there, but so was DJ Jakub and DJ Sean! The DJs did a great job of marching the energy of the guests and we had a blast and danced the night away. Nick also coordinated the outdoor music for my ceremony very well with my venue, who already has an outdoor audio system. The collaboration was flawless! The glow sticks brought smiles to everyone's face especially the little kids. Our light up monogram was an awesome addition for the dance floor and the uplighting brought the whole room together. Nicky was extremely attentive since our first inquiry and was able to answer any/all questions we had. Nicky's team set up in a timely manner and helped us throw the best party ever. I can't speak for the services as I ended up going with a friend on Facebook who offers DJ services willing to go even lower than he can, but if not for her, I would've hired them IMMEDIATELY! Very patient, understanding, professional and responsive via text and over the phone. If I didn't have to cut back as much as I had to, I wouldn't have bothered checking in with my friend first and would've just hired him. I first met Nick about a year ago, he was the DJ for one of the weddings I planned & immediately from the start he was such a pleasure to work with. As a wedding planner I work with a lot of vendors and many come and go without leaving any type of impression on me but Nick & his team we're great. From the beginning it was consistent communication which is key in any successful event. They were early to setup they were fluid and always were there to help with the bride and groom. Nicks energy was flawless and they kept the crowd pleased in every way. Their music quality was spot on & you could tell they really enjoy their job.
