Food was good however my wife's burger was prepared very well done and tough. Service was attentive and ambiance is super casual. Cheaper than most of the neighboring restaurants.

Wow, this is definitely one of our favorite spots in Sedona! We'll absolutely be coming back whenever we're craving a great burger. After hiking all day, we were seriously craving burgers and found Nick's West Side on Yelp, so we decided to give it a try and wow, we were beyond satisfied. The fries were crispy, hot, and fresh, and the burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful. I ordered the Guinness burger and it was amazing - the mushrooms were cooked perfectly. I also loved the bun and the huge pickles. Everything hit the spot. Service was quick and efficient, and the old-school diner vibes made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Lovely place! Service- quick and friendly. Food- yummy, my turkey sausage was a kitty on the dry side as was my hubby's cornbeef hash. Still overall we liked our breakfast. Coffe was good. We will be back again.

Cobb salad ingredients are plentiful and fresh. Crab cakes are nicely fried. Sweet potato fries and onion rings are delicious. The tuna sandwich is loaded with perfectly mixed tuna salad, lettuce and tomato and a fresh and crispy pickle spear on the side. Wait staff makes you feel like you're the only one there even when every table is taken. Ambiance is that of a local diner with locals dropping in for a delicious meal.

We've been here twice and love this place. This time was slower than the first time. No worries there. We came around 8:30am. Coffee is still great. I tried the Sunrise Quesadilla and had the hash browns again. Super choices. They also offer a military discount. The service was good and the ambiance always seems to be laid back with good food.

Friendly place, but terrible food. We had Mediterranean salad and bacon &cheddar burger. I NEVER had a Mediterranean salad like the one pictured. The burger came without bacon and cheddar. To top it off it was excessively overcooked.

Stumbled on this and wow ... excellent food , friendly service . No need to go to town ... come here !! I had the pulled pork quesadilla... wow !! And also the Reuben sandwich ... another wow . Loved that they offered steam vegetable with the sandwich!!

My wife had the SW Burrito in the background and I had the Spanish Omelette in the foreground Our server " Mariah" was awesome

After hiking behind the restaurant, we were starving for a hearty breakfast and they delivered. My wife had the Nicks SW Burrito with salsa verde with western potatoes. She slowed her pace at the end but finished the plate with a huge smile on her face I had the Spanish omelette with home fries and Greek sauce. It was a perfect size serving since there was no space in my stomach for anything else. The service was excellent and compliments to the chefs mother for her recipes !! For sure we will wait til dinner to attempt another meal today. Our server " Mariah" was awesome. All in for the plates (we stayed with water for hydration). $37 including tip

We were considering getting cocktails but decided to just get soda because we didn't want to deal with another line and transaction. I imagine other people feel similarly so they may be losing sales due to this odd arrangement. We both had burgers- I had the jalapeño popper burger which was excellent and my fiancé had the cheddar burger. Burgers are so huge and served with a ton of lettuce and tomato and piled high on a brioche bun. The bun and the apricot BBQ sauce were the best. Real jalapeños and cream cheese. A manager came over to chat with me after we finished and we were just finishing up our sodas and she was super nice and cared to hear our feedback. Bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The soda is self serve but we got our burgers very quickly- it is not table service- you retrieve them at the kitchen counter when your number is called on their speaker system. Look forward to returning here! Really nice experience- they also have both indoor and outdoor seating on a patio.

It's a casual eatery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but make sure to plan your visit as they have limited hours and will run out of popular items fast. Hours are 11am-5pm, and when we arrived around 4pm ish, they were out of potato salad and coleslaw. Ordered: 1/2 rack pork ribs- about 6 ribs, slightly chewy on the outside, but tender and fall of the bone at the same time, and doused in their sweet tangy BBQ sauce. The Stud burger- yum! Delicious burger with 3 large onion rings, bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce , and special bun. We chose their sweet potato fries instead of regular and omg they were some of the best we have ever had so far. Highly addictive. House salad- we shared the more than generous fresh green salad with home made croutons. You can tell their thousand island dressing was home made as well. We really enjoyed our all around really good meal! We were hoping to make it back another day, but after long day of hiking, they were closed. Bummer Good food and very reasonably priced.

It's situated in the heart of uptown, with outdoor seating only! You order at the window and then they come serve you at your table. Service was friendly and quick - I appreciated the swiftness, considering this was our first meal after a long hike in the sun. Both meals - baby back ribs (half rack) and the burger - were great choices! They were savory, juicy, and the sides complimented perfectly. The portions are huge (as you can see in the pics!), so definitely come hungry. Overall a good experience and a staple food stop in Sedona!

When we got there, it made some of the non food related reviews I'd read even funnier because this is just a good ole roadside place, doing bbq right, living its most authentic life. You could tell other people were put off by the "greasy menu" or the mismatched tables and chairs and the funky decor but what they should've been paying attention to was the absolute takeover of your senses when you walked in from the smell of the meats. That's the real measure of a bbq place. As soon as you opened the door you were just in a cloud of meaty aroma. We shared the three meat smaller with brisket, sausage and pork belly. For sides we got the potato mac, mac and cheese and coleslaw. The pork belly was incredible, star of the show. The brisket had great flavor but it was more of a lean brisket, so take a peek as you're ordering to see if that's what you prefer to avoid disappointment. Sausage was a good size. Mac and cheese was hearty. The potato mac was noodle based, reminded me of the potato salad you get a lot in Hawaii. You definitely leave as full as you want to be. They didn't have desserts (which was not our compliant but rather a woman in front of us who couldn't believe they didn't have a cobbler or a banana puddin of some kind). As we were sitting and eating, a constant stream of people came through and they did run out of the brisket and some side dishes. The location is right next to a campground so it seems like everyone pops over for lunch or an early dinner so they don't have to drive anywhere. There is a bar also and an outside eating area (when it isn't 100 degrees out).

I get that it's an incredibly busy and touristy spot, so I'll give them credit for that. We got there about 15 mis after it opened on a Thursday morning, was given an attitude for not having a reservation, was told that it would be a 40 mins wait, given a pager, and that if we didn't make it back to the restaurant within 5 mins of our table being ready we would lose our spot. That's fine. I get it. The problem is...the food was not great. It wasn't terrible, but it was not delicious. The gluten-free pizza crust was soggy and tasteless, the cheese was undercooked. My son's shrimp dish was spiced strangely and he couldn't finish it.The kids meals were drenched in butter. No one finished their meals. Everything was overpriced. Again, I understand this often the case for touristy places like this...you are there for the ambiance, not the food. But, I imagined there are other restaurants in the area that have better food and service and similar views.
