Our family go to lunch spot in the culver shopping center. The employees are always so nice and the shop so clean. We love the gyro sandwiches and like trying the different meats of lamb, chicken, beef and falafel. Also MUST order- the fries and foyo with honey.
Very fresh and healthy options here. I've been to this location a few times and have been getting the Prasini salad and I add the beefteki as my protein. They have different sauces like toum garlic sauce which is great but a little bland compared to the toum/ garlic sauce I am used to. The salad is plentiful with fresh ingredients and the beefteki is pretty juicy and tastes fresh as well but a little bit on the bland side. The order of garlic sauce helps a lot. The customer service has always been polite and helpful. The restaurant is very clean, including their bathroom. There is quite a bit of seating but does get packed during lunch rush.
Service was ok, nobody was inside waiting for orders so I got my food pretty fast, but my chicken gyro wasn't the best unfortunately. The chicken was alright but it was DRENCHED in a thousand island type of dressing, just not good. I was disappointed but oh well. Probably wouldn't try again.
Well Nick my boy, this is the start of a beautiful friendship. Found this place using yelp, then saw a sign asking customers to leave a yelp or google review, but I've seen Nick the Greeks in various locations including Thousand Oaks. I never thought to try it, as I don't typically like Greek food, but then I saw the yelp pictures. What caught my eye was the gyro with French fries in it. I thought "California burrito goes Greek" but it's a completely different flavor profile. The gyro doesn't leave you overly full but still satisfies your hunger. It could use more fries and more zing, maybe a little Cajun spice to the fries. The meat is thinly cut and freshly cooked. The tomato gives the whole thing a fresh taste. I went without the onions as they shouldn't exist outside of a fried outer shell. Overall I liked it and will be coming back. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

Nick the Greek is consistently solid! Wanted a meal with more vegetables so ordered food from here. Ended up doordashing the beef/lamb gyro, gyro bowl, and the tahini crunch salad. Everything was great but the true surprise of the meal was THE SALAD! The Tahini Crunch Salad is soooo good. The crispy chickpeas really make a huge difference and the dressing is stellar. Truly one of my favorite salads of all time.

It's a cute & quaint restaurant specializing in Greek Mediterranean cuisine. They offer fresh & delicious gyros, pitas, bowls, and more! There are a handful of tables to seat indoor (or out). The staff was welcoming & efficient. The fam & I typically come for dinner. I personally like the new Mediterranean steak bowl ($15.25). The steak is cooked perfectly. Moist & juicy..not overdone. My hubs & daughter usually get the souvlaki plate ($16.75/each) ~ chicken (for him) & steak (for her). And my son loves the steak pita ($13.75). The plates and pita usually come w/ a side of salad or fries. All in all, a good value for the generous amount of food you get. Totally didn't even know that they sell froyo (typically $5.95) til the nice staff guy gifted us one for the long wait for my son's pita order. It was yummy! Not overly sweet and a lil tarty. A perfect end to our meal. RxFoodie tip!!! Write a Yelp review during your visit and kindly show the staff member to score a FREE baklava (typically $4)! It's flakey, not super sweet & yummy filled w/ chopped walnuts. The ultra-thin phyllo (filo) dough literally melts in your mouth cuz it's baked so crispy & flakey. A must try & RxFoodie recommend!!!
Definitely get the steak bowl! Meats were well marinated and tender with soft rices and fresh vegetables! I ate here a couple time and they're consistent with the taste. A bit pricey but competitive when compared to other places. Staff was friendly and the inside is very clean and organized. Parking outside is another story. It's a shopping plaza so there's always traffic.

Honestly this place is pretty dang delicious. Got the Mediterranean steak bowl and a gyro plate. The steak bowl was super well rounded with pickled onion, cucumber, tomato, rice, kale, hummus, sauce, chickpeas. Only thing that'd improve it if the chickpeas were crispy. Gyro bowl (with half rice and half fries) came with a lot of pita, side salad, tomatoes and onion. The fries reminded us of in n out fries. And overall solid. A nice spot for fast yet healthy Greek food. I came on a Wednesday night and the inside ambiance was not busy at all. I got the Chicken Gyro. I liked how soft the pita bread was. I did feel like it could use more protein inside as I got more of the lettuce. The service was quick and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Quick and friendly service, clean interior, and a solid gyro! I got the beef lamb gyro and it comes with tomatoes, onions, fries, and tzatziki sauce. Good portion for a quick bite :)
We were craving Mediterranean food and saw that Nick had just opened up at this location. We got the chicken and beef/lamb gyro with fries on the side. The gyros were good, the beef with loaded with meat, the chicken was a bit smaller. They both came out lukewarm, the fries were also a bit soggy. Both gyros and a side salad came out to be around $30, not bad. We would come back, hopefully next time it'll be warmer and the fries crispier!

Second time coming to Nick the Greek, and it's been a great experience both times. The first visit, I only tried the Dubai chocolate, and my wife absolutely loved it. I thought it was great too, so we had to come back. This time we came for dinner. My wife ordered the chicken souvlaki pita, and I got the beef and lamb combo. The food was flavorful, the fries were nice and crispy, and everything came out fresh. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a really solid experience, and we'll definitely be back again. read more

The pita was so soft and warm, the cucumber dressing refreshing, and the tomatoes crisp. The beef / lamb gyro meat was very juicy and savory, with a few well seasoned fries, creating an exciting blend of flavors and textures, that might just launch a thousand ships! Baklava here has the freshest flaky filo dough, honey, and nuts, making a most delightful Greek snack before you return to work or the belly of a wooden horse! I tried the Gyro Plate today. After tax it came out to about $18.50 and it includes a salad and a main dish. I chose fries as the side. The fries were very dry and tasted like they had been sitting there for quite a while. The color was dull yellow-brown instead of a fresh golden color. The gyro meat was quite different from what I usually see. It was sliced into very thin, scattered pieces, and most pieces were only about the size of a quarter. Because of that, the portion felt smaller and less satisfying. Overall, the best part of the plate was actually the salad. If this plate were around $12 after tax, I would say the value is reasonable. But at $18.50 after tax, the taste, quality, and portion size all feel a bit underwhelming for the price. read more

Tasty, fresh food, easy fast casual setting, like a trendier Daphne's. Loved the plate that had expectedly great lamb meat flavor, tzatziki sauce, pilaf, and super fresh salad. You can get it with fries instead of rice, if you prefer. It was enough to split between my and my bf for a smaller meal, and was on the pricier (but maybe normal these days) side. Stopped by Nick the Greek and grabbed a chicken souvlaki pita. Solid all around. Food came out quick, hot, and the chicken had a really nice char on it. It was not dry, actually had some flavor. Nothing overcomplicated, just done right. Good spot if you want something fast that still hits. Would come back. read more
I was in the area and this plaza has plenty of options of food places but I decided to try this place out! I walked in and was greeted by the cashier upfront and opted to order the side order of Nicks Fries with a small drink. Also added some steak souvlaki. Cashier was really cool. There were plenty of tables in the restaurant and outside as well. Sadly The drink area was pretty dirty when filling up my drink. Order took around 10 minutes to come out. Once I opened the box, fries were steamy hot! Taking a bite, it was delicious! The sauce used was real delectable! Have to admit though, they did skimp out on the meat given it is a side order. But the meat used was smoky and delicious! The fries were the best as they were crispy and seasoned to perfection! Overall it was around $13 for the meal. I think the price was fair for the amount of food I got. I wish they added more meat and kept the place a little cleaner but I would still come by again to check out some of their other food! I've been seen a few of the Nick the Greek pop up here and there so decided to try it out. And in simple terms pretty good fast food Greek food. I usually love trying the classic Beef/Lamb Gyro to see how it measures up. It was honestly pretty good with lots of flavors from the Tzatziki sauce and they put some fries in there for texture as well. The pita was soft and delicious to go with it. I had ordered the combo with fries and drink and their fries were great too as they were just the right amount of crispy you would want. Definitely a solid option for a quick bite packed with flavor. read more
We had Nick the Greek for lunch today at the office. I didn't expect much but was surprised how good it was. Especially the gyro, it was delicious and not too salty as most. The chicken shawarma was a bit too dry for me but it was also good. Cucumber salad was great and unusual. I had never seen a Mediterranean salad served without lettuce but just cucumbers only. Reminds me of the cucumber salad at Din Tai Fung. Just different marinade. The grilled mushrooms and zucchini were really good. The pita bread was somewhat burnt but still good with the hummus. We will definitely visit the restaurant sometime soon. read more
