I'm a Greek food connoisseur and a huge fan of the cuisine. I dropped by due to the rave reviews and ordered my staples: Greek plate w/ lamb gyro meat and rice pilaf and gyro (chicken to mix it up). I also ordered fries because I was in the mood and because who doesn't like fries with their gyro?! The beef gyro was unfortunately kind of tough and "bready" vs. moist and succulent with meaty flavors. I have a very specific criteria for lamb gyro and this meal fell short of my expectations. The chicken gyro was better but overly salted vs. savory. Fries were underwhelming and I did not finish all of it. The pita bread met my critiera of being soft, pillowy with the right amount of chew. Rice pilaf was way too oily/greasy and I did not end up finishing it. I prefer rice that is flavorful, moist and not loaded with oil. Maybe I came on an off night but this place definitely did not hit the spot with me and I will move onto my next Greek food adventure elsewhere! read more
