There are eight teams in the league - all located in the Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec area. Ottawa has two teams - the Sooners and the Junior Riders. The night my family and I went, the Sooners were facing their crosstown rivals. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at the stadium. Canada is primarily a hockey country and I wasn't sure how many people would be in the 3,000 seat stadium on a chilly October night to watch football. Amazingly, the stands were packed! We had to wander for a while to get some good seats in the boisterous crowd. Unfortunately, we could only find seats in the Junior Rider fan section, so we had to endure shouts of abuse and trash-talking against what-will-become our home team. The game is much faster than the US version (only three downs) so the game was action-packed. The stadium offers food (hot dogs, burgers, fries) and non-alcohol beverages (pop, coffee and hot chocolate). There are draws for cash and prizes and a charming announcer keeping the crowd informed of the play on the field. In between plays, the DJ plays awesome tunes. It was a really fun-filled event and I plan to take my family as often as we can go. Go Sooners!

I've been a GoodLife member for over 4 years now and have been to many different clubs across the…read morecountry. Though this is the closest club to my current home, I would advise going elsewhere. Throughout the hottest summer months the air conditioning was continuously broken (I'm not even sure it's fixed now but at least the average daily temperature supports a bearable workout atmosphere). As much as I love RPM, I believe there were days I almost left with heat stroke. There were also a number of times I had to dodge industrial fans pointed at the roof that seemed to be attempting to dry a leaking roof outside the women's change room. I can say that I love the group fitness room as it is quite large and the air conditioning never ceased function in there. On top of that the instructors are some of my favourites :) Overall I will leave two stars for this GoodLife. I will continue my membership with this chain but will conduct my workouts at a different facility !

I'm extremely disappointed with my visit to Flying Squirrel. During our time there, we were…read moreconstantly harassed by an employee every time one of us tripped or fell -- something completely normal at a trampoline park. Every time, the same employee would rush over and tell us to stand up, even though it was obvious we had just fallen, not sitting around. Nowhere in the posted rules does it say you aren't allowed to fall. What made it even more frustrating was that plenty of others were doing way worse, but somehow we were the only ones being singled out. When we spoke to the manager, all they had to say was that it's the employee's job to "interfere when there's something." Like, of course Sherlock -- but maybe focus on actual problems, not people simply falling in a trampoline park. And as if that wasn't enough, the bathrooms were an absolute disgrace -- filthy floors and overall disgusting. Terrible experience! I've been here several times, and likely the last! I'll go in Laval where at least we are respected and not being harassed for stupid reasons!

For an insanely reasonable price my son was able to invite 9 of his friends for pizza and two hours of fun! Flying Squirrel supplied paper plates, plastic cutlery, and napkins. All of the kids had a great time. They were exhausted by the end of the party. I highly recommend Flying Squirrel. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

I find it disturbing that the grown men that work here feel that it is ok to come up behind little…read moregirls to check their harnesses when they aren't near the climbing wall and aren't waiting for an orientation/ help. At no point do they introduce themselves. Explain what they need to do and why. They just feel the need to grab little girls hips and pull on them and then startled and scare them. The staff have been aggressive and rude on a number of occasions. We no longer feel comfortable coming here.

When this place closed during the pandemic they were supposed to freeze memberships. They freezed…read morethe memberships but never bothered to tell anyone (or not everyone) that they had reopened and memberships were live again. Mine is now expired and they won't even budge on a consideration. I lost a lot of money because of this and you think they would have a bit more consideration because of the confusion. Customer service is terrible and the email I got was rude. I will not be getting a new membership and I doubt they will survive the next pandemic wave.

The studio hosts numerous events and giveaways highlighting so many local businesses. This has helped me find so many other cool places to check out! I feel like I know this town way better than I ever could have imagined, and in such a short time! This studio is creating an amazing community hub and I'm so glad I found Union 108!
