I found it mostly easy to make par, but not so easy that it wasn't fun. The front desk people didn't have a helpful attitude (E.g. I asked if they had a bathroom, was told "yes," silence, and then I had to ask where it was to find out where it was). But we still had a great time. There are two courses, which are not clearly marked at the beginnings, but once you get on one you'll naturally follow that one until the end. The "volcano" is really just a "mountain" with waterfalls, no "lava."

We showed up a few minutes before it opened at 10 AM and the lady behind the desk let us pay and go in. Our three youngest kids got in for free which was great because at 12 bucks a person, it really felt like a waste of money even for the two older kids who barely played golf. since the course is fenced in, we adults were able to play around each of the holes as our kids ran wild across the empty course. We did of course have to limit them, to keep them from climbing on top of the mini castle, etc. they were fascinated by the hole where when the golf ball doesn't make it to the other side of the stream, it gets sent down and out a log onto the bottom part of the course and they would carry the golf balls back up to the stream and drop them in just to see them roll out down below. They also loved the pinko style ball drop at the end. Overall, I'm really happy we went.

As I mentioned though, there were tons of bugs. We were eaten alive out there. It would be nice to see the course put out some torches or something to ward off the bugs. The employee who rang us up for mini golf was very nice and friendly though. I think we would've enjoyed the experience more if we weren't behind that specific group.

After some gentle discussion they still honored the discount which I thought was good on their part. Course was super clean, well maintained and fun layout. Kids loved the moving Dino's and the ropes course looked fun but we saved it for another day. Parking was tight but free in the lot a block up on Pennsylvania and we walked down to the course.
