What once was an Ocean City gem is now an unplayable golf course. Even at half of usual tee time…read moreprice, it was not worth it. Literally no grass in fairways, burnt out greens, ruined tee boxes, and overgrown and unmanaged rough. An awful golf experience. We were not informed about the course conditions when we paid our fee. At a minimum, the pro shop staff should have given us a heads up. It's a real shame that a once beautiful course looks as it does.

They have a nice driving range and a well stocked pro shop. We played 18 on War Admiral. Beautiful course with long fairways, with tricky sand traps, tough rough and challenging greens. A nice afternoon with friends. My only issues are that the one snack shack is over at the driving range and you have to go in the opposite direction to get to it from War Admiral Tees #1 & 10. Same with the turn bathrooms. They need more parking too. I'll be back to play Man O'War.

I need to send a special thanks to Bryce at the pro shop. We had a group of 4 and two of our group bailed on us. They could have easily charged me for the group of 4 and would have been in their rights. They did a wonderful thing and only charged us for 2. We started with an 11:20am start but due to there 8 mins between foresome we didnt start till 12:10 PM. We waited on every shot, sometimes sitting in the cart waiting for the group ahead to hit. We spoke with the starter, the ranges and even with a homeowners on the 16, 17 holes. The homeowners dont play here because its a common 6 plus hour round. They just dont seem to care about this issue. This course is just out to collect as much money as they can, with no regard for the golfer. We spend good money here just to be disgusted all day. There are many other courses in Ocean City to play and we will NOT be back here. The sad part of this review is that we loved the layout and conditions of the course but the waiting every shot just isnt what we are use to. If they just make a 10 min interval between groups, this would be a 5 star course. STOP being a money grab. We actually call and asked if we could get another foresome out, without hesitation they said yes, even with a full booking sheet for the day.

We came with our travel friends. Bethany Travel had arranged the event with about 20 related travel organizations. We arrived around 4 PM when the event started. We checked in at the front desk to receive our raffle tickets. There are some beautiful views of the Links golf course and Assawoman Bay. We visited the various travel tables to talk and pick up some various travel brochures. Complimentary coffee, ice tea and water were also available. Tables were also available for customers to sit, drink and eat. Eventually they arranged some very nice hand held hors d'oeuvre appetisers and desserts in the bar area. We did not win the raffle. After the raffle we left to return home. We had enough to eat so we did not stop for dinner. We have lots of brochures to read and investigate for our future travels.

At by rate the greens were great, rough was a little lush but we got there after the area had about 20 straight days of rain, so I can't complain. In terms of the course as a whole it is probably one of if not the best courses in the area- and for good reason as everything was well-maintained and kept up. The clubhouse also was very nice and the bar was nice and wet. Would come back if I play with the same group.

Our Ladies also enjoyed the food and beverage from the Touch of Italy clubhouse staff, so it was a fun filled day of golf and delicious food.

The course has some of the most beautiful views that I've ever experienced. Quite a bit of water and sand as you would imagine and playing was tough but fair. The dinning experience was fantastic. The setting was great, the service was exceptional and the food was first class. We had a large group ranging in age from 1 year old to 67 so you could imagine that it was a little energetic at times but the staff was very gracious, helpful and understanding.
