The only reason I can't is that when I go to a small nursery I expect knowledgeable employees when it comes to the plants and sadly they didn't have the knowledge I was looking for. Would I go back absolutely! Their stock is meant for the climate here and I was looking for herbs I could have being tired of not finding fresh quality living herbs in the local economy. They are well organized they are set up great for social distancing. The store has a nice little selection of garden trinkets, seeds, gift items as well as feeds for your plants. Etc. They stock various garden soils, etc. Making it possible to do a one stop shop. They also have lists for plants that are deer repellent, hummingbird friendly etc. etc. All in all a great it a great place to go for your garden needs.

Now, 1 1/2 months later the Lowe's plants are beautiful and doing great, however, the plant from McCords is dying. We called to ask about a replacement plant and to see if we could return the bag of soil we did not use but found out McCords does not take any returns nor replace any plant. Lesson learned for us... this high priced nursery is no match for Lowe's and much more expensive.

You are essentially a displaced traveler with a boarding pass, trying to avoid sitting in an airport terminal for five hours while security employees begin recognizing your face. That is how we ended up at the Denver Milk Market on a Thursday evening. Located in the Dairy Block on Wazee Street, it is a sprawling food hall designed by chef Frank Bonanno. It is a very pleasant sanctuary to kill some time before ascending into the night sky. The beauty of a venue with a dozen or so food counters is that a group of exhausted travelers does not need to achieve any sort of culinary consensus. One person can eat bao buns, another can eat handmade pasta, and a third can get fried chicken while another simply grabs a few drinks without any diplomatic negotiations. While we were wandering, a woman sat at a table with a microphone hosting a game of trivia to what appeared to be an entirely imaginary audience. Not a single person in the room appeared to be participating. It was a fascinating piece of experimental theater focusing on the loneliness of human knowledge. She called out questions about pop culture, agriculture and other various topics into the empty void, completely unbothered by the silence. I respected her commitment to the craft. The alley outside was maybe the finest part of the establishment. The Dairy Block alleyway is paved and lit up overhead. There was also a side room featuring communal seating and free games like skee ball, a shuffleboard table, and foosball. It turns waiting for a late flight into a minor social outing instead of a punishment. My primary critique is aimed not at the food hall itself, but at the city of Denver as a whole. Everything shuts down ridiculously early. The city has built a ecosystem of food halls, alleyways, and bars that is full of potential, yet the municipal clock seems to dictate that all citizens must be safely tucked in by nine o clock. For a traveler trying to enjoy the city after a long day in a convention center or stretch an evening before a red eye flight, this early curfew is an inconvenience. The Denver Milk Market is an attractive and versatile option for the weary traveler or hungry lunch crowd. It may not be a holy site that requires a special trip across town, but if you have some time to burn, a desire for a game of shuffleboard, and a late flight home, it performs its job admirably. Just make sure you get there before the city decides it is bedtime.

Because there are so many options, we ordered a ton of different things to try out: dumplings, egg rolls, fried chicken, pizza, and pasta. Unfortunately, the food itself ended up being pretty hit or miss. The egg rolls were decent, though they were a little different than what I was expecting. The pizza was pretty bland and the dough just wasn't great. On the positive side, the pasta was good, and the fried chicken was easily my favorite of the night. With a vibe this cool, I really wish the food quality consistently matched it. The ambiance here is fantastic. It has a lively, modern, and really fun atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. Navigating all the different counters is a neat experience, but the culinary execution just needs to step it up to match how great the space looks. I'd still recommend checking it out at least once just to experience the space, grab a drink, and enjoy the cool vibe. Just be selective with what you order since the food quality can vary quite a bit depending on which counter you hit.

It's owned and operated by a man named JP and he is as old school, down to earth as they come. Today I bought six huge pumpkins, oatmeal cooking. A lemon bar, green chili, soap, peanuts, some sodas and a few pie pumpkins. I love the feel of this place as well as its location. The friendly banter with JP is always fun and there is some real pride of ownership involved in this place. If you're looking for a real Halloween feel when shopping for pumpkins... Bypass King Soopers and stop at this great locally owned pumpkin patch.

We were staying at the KOA at Central City and it was pretty late Saturday night. The rain had…read morestopped and we decided to go look for a nice coffee place. Dave drove to Evergreen, so beautiful and mostly everything was closed. I stumbled upon JP Total Farmer Market using my trusty Yelp App. They were open until 7:00 and I figured we could get some local peaches and maybe a pie. So we parked the RV in the lot and Dave said let's take Freckles with us. So we entered this eclectic Farmer's Market where there were four inviting rocking chairs at the entrance. Dave went ahead and the owner went crazy over Freckles. They were like if you didn't bring her in we would be sad because we love dogs! It's like Freckles knew it too-she was so well behaved and she got some nice dog biscuits from the lady and ate them immediately! Dave bought a beautiful cherry pie that is homemade and ready to bake. I got a few humongous peaches that were so perfect and grown in Colorado. We talked and they had vacationed regularly on Ft. Meyers Beach until Ian did a number on it! It was so nice to meet these ladies who made us feel so comfortable! If I were a little younger I might consider moving to this inviting city!
