Most of all it is clean that is the most important thing to me when I am visiting a laundromat. There are other places in Bishop, but they're not as nice as this so I would highly recommend Stopping by the Mann of Lakes laundromat for all your washing and drying needs. They also have drop off and pick up service so they can do your laundry for you if you'd rather not do it yourself.

I appreciate that they have a bathroom, a cushioned bench to sit on and a change machine. I've only had one instance where the change machine didn't work, but I was able to get a refund. The dryers work great (25 cents for 4 minutes). It usually takes 20-25 minutes for me to dry a load. Great spot to do your laundry and conveniently located near the coffee shop, hardware store and Rite Aid!

Walking in, it was pretty run down with pieces of the wall missing and water ALL over the floor. The soap dispenser was empty and the change machine wouldn't take our paper bills, which was pretty frustrating. There is an option for you to pay with an app, but with the spotty cell service we get in Mammoth, it was a lot quicker for my husband to head next door to Vons to pick up some tide pods and coins rather than to wait for the app to download. Nobody seems to work there to help troubleshoot. FINALLY after having everything we needed to do our laundry (change, detergent), we placed our items in the first open machine we saw..... and it wouldn't start or take our money. This happened with the next couple of machines we tried after that until we finally found one that worked. We went out to breakfast and came back to find the machine unplugged and pulled away from the wall. Uhh what? I didn't have the patience to run it again because it wasn't clear If the cycle had completed or not. I just decided to throw it in the dryer so we could be DONE with this place. I usually visit the one near the old Save Mart, but it was too busy today, so I tried this one. This one took a whole lot more quarters to dry my clothes than one over by the old Save Mart. There was only approximately three rolling baskets, and other patrons were hanging onto them like it was their last meal, so I had to hand carry everything from the washer to the dryers, from the dryers to the folding tables. Minimal folding counters. Was pretty crowded when we came in. No place for people to get out of the way of each other or fold their clothes. Soap trays have mold in them. Overall very dirty. With all the dog hair floating around clean clothes became dirty again.
