Staff was nice and friendly. However, the manicurist needs training on develop the skills in providing a good manicure. The gel polish applied was too thick, my nails were not filed evenly. The manicurist removed a smudge of gel polish on my middle finger with a nail file. Hence, created a scratch on my finger. Moreover, allergies appeared on my legs. I don't know if it was the lotion or the wet warm towels wrapped on my legs that caused an allergic reaction. Never will I come back to this nail salon. I happen to be in the area and needed my nails done asap as I am leaving for a cruise tomorrow. I normally only ever get my toes done because my hands can't handle the cuticle cutting (always painful for me) and the gel polish never last on my fingers when I go swimming. I explained this to (Ms Lisa, I think) the lady who did my pedi and she said she will try something a little different to make them last longer (she even told me I could come back and she will fix it if it doesn't, but I'm not from here so I went out on faith) I couldn't decide on a color but she noticed my colorful anklets and suggested multicolored. I love it. She did a wonderful job. She was very gentle on my cuticles. The salon it self was nice and basic inside. Now, price wise it seemed a bit pricey but again I don't often get mani/pedi's but the last time I did I don't recall it being so expensive. $40+5 for multicolor gel mani and $50 one color gel pedi. With a 2.38 convenience fee (?) and $10tip. 107.38. Overall it was a last minute thing I had to do and I love how it turned out. I would return if in the area and wanted a pedicure. read more

Came in for a gel x set with Lina. Showed the photo asking for ombré. The appointment was going fine and then came the nail polish. She kept asking me which ones I wanted for it, which typically, if you show them a photo they bring out the polish for you. So I thought this was strange. Fast-forward to her, putting on the nail polish, and she puts on the darker shade first. Which again odd but I thought she had a technique for this, so I wasn't concerned. A couple of coats of the dark shade she then tries to use a sponge to apply the lighter shade. Which, of course, doesn't work. She then proceeds to tell me that she can't do it. Her coworker had been hanging out next to us since it was slow said that the the lighter shade should've been applied first. Lina said that the airbrush machine wasn't working and that's why she couldn't do it. Before this existed, I had ombré done on my nails with a sponge so it is possible. Lina tried to get me to do a cat eye and she only brought out silver which was an odd choice. She insisted on showing me and since red and silver don't go together, I said I didn't like it. Then they suggested chrome which wasn't the look I was going for. Then she asked if I wanted a design. I came in knowing what I wanted. If the machine wasn't working, she should have told me and I would have decided something else. Don't tell someone after you already have the nail color on that you can't do it. If you are unsure, try on one nail first! If you do tell someone after color is on every nail that you can't do it, you should offer to take it off and start over. Plus the base color isn't that dark (see photos). $65 for gel x. $10 take off. $75 plus tip. They prefer cash and Venmo. I was debating trying a different tech in the future, but the prices are high and there are tons of other salons in the area. read more

I really wanted to like this place as it's closer to home, their design lady does a bomb job and they offer gel-x. I was in and out in about 45 minutes and was super happy with that part, as I really hate being at the nail shop for more than 1.5 hours. I first started doing my gel-x in Brisbane at a fraction of the cost for your typical acrylics... they would last 3+ weeks and the process was so much simpler. I was sold. But I thought I'd start to save myself a trip and just pay the ridiculous amount of $70+ here on this side of the peninsula, since I moved. After a gel-x set, a gel pedicure and tips, I walked out the door paying $130. Anyhow, one nail lifted and popped off the next afternoon. I am now on day four and have 5 nails left between both hands. When the nails popped off there was a smooth surface on my nails, no foundation to make the gel-x stick whatsoever. I am so so mad because I was already unsettled that the sets are so expensive, starting at $70, for the "short" tips. Additionally, I chose my colors from the nail color rings and then was told that all of the ones I picked were old/no longer available and then had me pick from one of the color sample pages out of all the rings that they had displayed. I've gotten gel-x other places and have had similar situations with either lifting or just the overall aesthetic of the set. If a new item/service is going to be added to a menu, please know what you're doing before starting to offer to paying customers. I've only had two successful locations that offer gel-x. Y'all, I just left here almost an hour ago and I'm still very happy about my nails. Nail care is something I don't focus much on, but I have a day off from work and decided today was the day for self-care. I made an appointment via phone the day before, but I think you can also book online, too. I went in with a clear idea in mind, but didn't realize it was dip polish and not gel (I made the appointment for gel). After finding out my original idea was dip, I just settled for an all purple gel manicure and thankfully I had May who talked me through alternatives from start to finish. I generally get square nails, but I opted for almond this time. May talked me through to consider a light pink background with a purple french tip and I wasn't sure (picture Barney purple with hot pink... my worse fear), but she took it step by step to show me what it would look like so it wasn't gonna be "I finished all 10 fingers, what do you think?" which I appreciated. Honestly, probably the best nail appointment I've ever had. She finished my nails in 34-ish mins? The salon I used to go to in SSF felt like forever in the chair. I was so so thankful that these ladies were able to fit me in. Background story: I was in my sisters wedding and had gotten gel X on my fingers and the nail color polish was like a red burgundy. In the sunlight, it looked very bright red. And this weekend I have a school interview, and I can't really show up with bright red nail polish so I messaged this nail shop because they have the gel X extension and are familiar with it. Went for a gel x with design and a gel pedicure. Besides from the tech being rough, pulling my arms and twisting my fingers like there's no bones my finger nails turned out good and looked almost the same as the inspo picture. My experience with my toenails however was horrible. The worst pedicure I experienced so far. I sat down, she scrubbed it for a bit, cut my nails without asking me, filed it until it's the last bit of it and applied polish. Only asked me how's it looking on the last two toe nails.
