I paid for the $31 suv cleaning and the results were as followed : my rooftop was still dirty ; my mats weren't lifted for vacuuming; my windshields inside and out weren't attending to; my tires were armored without the 4 rims uncleaned ; my seats remained with crumbs; my dashboard left dusty. When I requested to speak to the manager, I was told he was inside the office, no manager was there. Then staff especially the process starter tell me after I told him I couldn't locate the manager, well since he "appears " to be the substitute manager, he informed me " that's nothing he could do to resolve this issue. So I close with saying NICE GUYS CAR WASH isn't a nice place for service, no concerns about customer satisfaction. Perhaps It just my timing for better service. But I've watched other vehicles exiting with dirt still on the surface. They don't even spray the wheel well . I rather have my SUV remaining dirty then go there for a free follow up. This is the third time that I've had my car detailed at Nice Guys Car Wash and and for the third time, I was very pleased! My car is 15 years old and was covered in dirt and grime on the outside and the inside wasn't much better from a full year of baseball equipment being dumped back there Jimmy gave me an appointment and I showed up on a Wednesday and his guys were so friendly and helpful and talked to me through what I wanted Jimmy then called me to follow up which was really appreciated When I went to pick my car up. It looks just beautiful. All the grime and dirt were gone, especially from the top of the car which was especially bad. The inside looked beautiful too. It was so nice and shiny - it definitely looked younger than 15 years. I cannot recommend this place enough. Jimmy and his staff were polite, respectful and friendly, which is not always the case when a woman needs help with her car I will definitely bring my car back here again . read more

Not a review about service - I have never had my car washed there. This is a review about the conduct of two employees that came into the laundromat next to the car wash. Two employees came in and sat down next to where I was sitting (I was doing laundry). They were loud, singing and playing music. Why do men think it's okay to try to intimidate women with their obnoxious behavior? I felt so uncomfortable that I got up and moved away from them. I've never used nice guy car wash and I don't ever plan to now. Shame on the laudromat for allowing non-paying folk to hang out and be disruptive. read more

the name fits perfectly for this car wash in the bronx cause my nieces mutt took a digusting dump in the back seat floor area and thankfully for a extra 20 bucks jose the car wash employee made it all gone , including the stomach turning smell. the car wash outside and inside was also done well and car is much cleaning and smells better also .well worth the extra 20 bucks as the crew work as a team drying the auto after it goes thru the washing ringer or whatever the machine is called . 4 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Just got my car detailed $160 and this is what I get back, see pics. Cant believe they didnt clean the cup holder area. Also didnt know that cleaning the roof of the car was also not included. Didnt bother to complain as i picked up my car at closing and there was literally like 1 person there. I was just annoyed and wanted to leave. Not going back. My normal go-to car wash had a long line so I gave these guys a shot. I'm glad I did. The service was great and the interior cleaning they did was excellent as well as a good deal. (Got the silver wash - $21). The place also lets you drive through the exterior wash- my kid loved it. The bottom line is the service and price was great. For a car detail these guys aren't really detail oriented at all and left a lot of spots untouched. Half of my dashboard never got any work on it which left my dashboard half restored and half old and dry. Had to go to Advance Auto Parts and buy Meguairs restoration liquid myself because of the half assed job done by them. After that I also noticed that left panel next to windshield also got left half done. When I got my car back it was damp and smelled like mothballs left in there. It took me three days to leave windows open and drive around like to air out strong chemical smell. On the exterior they left few spots which look like they've never been touched. Like others have said. The pressure washer is the only thing that cleans yours car. The machine is useless and the workers agreed it had issues so why continue running it? Paid 21$ for the "silver" service. Got nothing of value in return. The outside of my vehicle, including mirrors, still have dirt on them. I feel that every time i go to this car wash they never dry the car completely. I always have to dry the inside of my doors and trunk cause they don't bother to clean it. I always ask for armorall on the tires and it never gets done cause there is no communication from the guys that take your money to the guys that dry the car. Ok, so I haven't washed my car since late June: please don't judge me lol. Life happened. I just started working in the Riverdale area so I figured why not treat my baby to a spa treatment. First things first, don't try entering the shop ok the Broadway side, you have to go around. Otherwise, you'll look like your skipping the line for detailing. I drove around and opted for a $22 daily special that included a wash, tire dressing, and indoor cleaning. Service was really good. The staff are kind and work fast. The wash wasn't that great though, I don't know if it's because I waited so long, but my car could've used another wash afterward. I didn't bother asking, maybe someone else will have better luck. 5 stars goes for the service and indoor cleaning. They vacuumed corners and spots that other places never bother to. Although I was not able to have my car cleaned I am still giving them a 5 star. I went in today because I had severe water damage to my car. They were very friendly when calling the day before as well as when I arrived. They took the time to look over my car and make sure the package i requested could be done. Instead of taking my money which would of been over $100, they guided me in the proper steps needed prior to them being able to do a good job on my car. Honorable service is hard to find these days and it means a lot that they were honest and helpful especially for someone who isn't familiar with slot of car stuff. Wow! My neglected car (hadn't cleaned it since driving cross country in June!) looked great after the $22 wash and interior clean. A little pricey but certainly worth it to get off the grime. This place is ran by scam artists, just be careful what you order. Twice I have been given the $8.00 service instead of the $11.00 service. The first time that it happened the guy who dries the car told me that my tires don't get the coating with the $8.00 service, I showed him the receipt, so the guy put the tire wax on. The 2nd time I went back, I noticed that the tri-color shampoo did not shoot anything and once again the guy who dries the car told me that I got the $8.00 service. I drove back and gave the owner an earful, the owner then proceeded to give me another cleaning. He went into the car wash and attached the tubes to the tri-color machine. He did not look happy, on the other side the dryer had a smirk on his face. Remember, tri-color means more than $8.00 service. read more

I have a white Honda Pilot. I love white vehicles but having one in the northeast is problematic. My truck was in bad shape from years of exposure to bad weather. I had never had it waxed and the color was faded and the truck looked terrible. I brought it in today for a car wash, bumped into the owner and we began to talk about waxing. Really nice guy. He convinced me to get it done and i must say it was the best decision i made regarding my truck. I am extremely happy with the out come. My wife was even happier. He even gave us a cupon for a free car wash. The staff was amazing as well. The guys did a phenomenal job. The most impressive part? It was done in about an hr or so while my wife and i ate at the diner next door. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a wash or even a wax. read more

Probably the best experience I've ever had getting my car fully detailed. I have young children and a cloth interior and that is a terrible combination. Ketchup, juice, soda, if you can think of it the cloth was stained with it. It got so Bad I was worried that when it was time to sell the car I'd lose money from a destroyed interior. Nice guys car wash and there awesome staff saved my butt!! Literally everything I was worried about was all washed away. The car looked brand spanking new inside and out. This is a great car wash and I have been coming here since 2010. I also noticed that many of the people who work here have been here since I started coming. I think this is a good sign about working conditions and management. Also, I think it makes a difference in how well my car gets cleaned. Everyone works as a team and my car is always really, really clean when I leave. If you do not live in the neighborhood the good thing is it is right off I-87 so you can get off the highway get your car cleaned and get right back on again because the car wash is only two minutes from the exit. Also, there is an indoor waiting area that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter and it has a bathroom (always clean). This is important to me since my daughter is young and so the fact that we can be inside while my car gets super clean and the facilities are comfortable and clean if she needs the bathroom matters to me. Came here on a Thursday at about 610pm. Desperately needed my car cleaned. I just wanted it vacuumed and washed. He says very nicely "sorry no vacuum after 6pm". Wth? Okay whatever.So I pay $8 to have it cleaned outside and poorly dried. When I got home it was "clean" but nothing spectacular like other places I've been to. My car was parked under a tree and became covered with bird poop. I drove into Nice Guys late in the afternoon when the place was near empty. Telling the cashier that I would like to have the poop removed, he reluctantly used a high pressure spray to remove the droppings on only one side of the car. When I finished going through the wash, I stepped out to inspect the results. There were multiple droppings still there all over the body. I then went back and told the cashier that the car wasn't clean. I said I wanted to go through again, but he wanted me to pay 1/2 off regular price. I refused and then he let me through for free. This time he hosed the car down thoroughly and used some soapy product. The car came out the second time much better and another employee used the same soapy mix to remove the remaining droppings during the dry-off phase. The only fault is that when I got home, I notice a 7-8" key scratch on my rear left side panel. It wasn't there when I left home. I suspect that some "revenge" may have taken place here for the "free" second wash. I can't prove it, but I didn't leave the car anywhere and was in it the entire time. The only place this could have happened was in the Nice Guys establishment. This really upset me and I won't go to this amateur wash ever again. If it wasn't 92 degrees, I would have washed the whole car myself. Like the other reviewers say, thoroughly inspect your car before you leave should you chose to use these "Nice Guys"... read more
