I really LOVED coming to Unico... They are very responsive on their social media, pay attention to your questions and answer them in a very precise manner. I first reached out to them because a friend recommended the place for me to get my tints there. I had been wishing doing it for a while but hadn't found a place I liked... my friend did his here, not as dark as mine, but he talked to me about Unico, so I reached out through Ig and they responded in less than 15 minutes. I came on Friday and spoke to one of the owners: JC, who is super down to earth, helpful, knowledgeable and definitely super mega friendly... I waited like an hour to the tints done but they were full and the wait was still a little long, so I decided to leave and come back Saturday. On Saturday they did my tints and I couldn't be happier to be honest!! The quality of their work and products is above anything else!! If you're looking for a place where there's professionalism and attention to detail, this is it!!! I found another shop where they were willing to do the job for half the price but the quality of their materials was super bad, so I rather pay more and get BETTER results. I came back on Sunday morning to wash my car here because then Saturday was PACKED for carwash and definitely will come back every time I have to wash it... Again, the attention to detail they took to wash my car was amazing and I hadn't experienced it anywhere else! Their basic service was definitely not basic at all and is worth every cent!!! I loved coming here and felt they treated me as if they knew me forever. Really love feeling welcomed at a place of business and the feeling of "they don't only want money but keeping their clientele forever and happy". JC made me feel as family and as if I was at my own house. Showed me around with a little tour, showed me some of the nice cars they were working on and provided answers to all of my questions, which are usually a few too many because Im a fan of cars myself. This place is definitely recommended for any service your car needs!! They really did the best car wash my car had since i got it!!!! And I don't even have words to express how happy I am with my window tints!!! Fyi: JC also answered one of my questions and answer is: They are under new management and new team starting 2024, so any bad reviews from the past, definitely has nothing to do with the new Unico! read more

I previously wrote a review on this place as i took a smaller car for detailing. This Saturday 3.26.22 I took a van to get a full detailing at 930a they stated it'd take close to 5 hrs. I told them we wanted a full detailing and the carpets needed a deep cleaning cause of an odd smell. I didn't receive a call with an update or whether to pick it up. I had to call around 4 pm asking if our van was ready. They stated we could come at 630 to pick it up cause the carpet was drying. We picked up the van and today we're replacing the old rubber mats. We realize they did a half ass job. The middle seats were not taken out to clean the carpet or vacuum. I took a screenshot of the video we took since we can't upload it here. Disappointed that we spent $250 for half a job. read more

Best part about coming to a shop like this is the professionalism each and every of the employees have. I have done all sorts of washes on my cars from getting the Diamond wash package to just coming in for a simple wash. I been coming to this place for a while now, and now that i'm on my 3rd car purchased i yet haven't had a complain about the service i have received. Looking for a place to detail my car. Two of my friends recommended this spot. Stopped by early morning to get it detailed and shampoo my seats. Took a while but didnt obviously rush the process. Billy, told me two hours and it took exactly that long. I love the job that was done but I think they might've left out my back wheel. Besides that I would highly recommend this place for anyone who attends to their vehicle. read more

I payed around $96 for the "diamond express". I was very anxious to go there since I read lots of positive reviews. I must admit this place is always busy (I sometimes drive by there). I have a Honda CRV, didn't need much cleaning since I recently purchased it; the exterior was very dusty and the interior needed vacuuming. I decided to go to Unico since they have experience detailing luxury cars, and I assume that they would do a good job cleaning and conditioning my leather seats. The exterior of my car wasn't clean properly, you could still see dust stains. The interior of my car also got a "basic" cleaning. However, they did a good job with my leather seats. I could've gotten a better exterior and interior cleaning service (without leather cleaning / conditioning) for $60. I guess Unico is more detailed with luxury cars and not put much work on a every day car. I was very disappointed with the service that I got. The amount that I payed does not match the quality of work that my car received. read more

I haven't owned a car in 15 years. These guys took care of me showing patience, while explaining the options to make sure i got the right service. I'm from cali. I would put zero stars if I could but this place beyond sucked. They are overpriced, and sexist. When speaking to manager me as a woman got ignored and spoke over and my boyfriend they were just rude. They were extremely rude and only change their attitude slightly when we were going to leave. Over charged and did half the work. When we tried to complain, the package we purchased was suddenly different. The manager talks over you and tells you what was done yet clearly nothing was done. Save your money go else where. They are much and by much I mean you will save half the price and better service in other places then what you will get here. Almost 3 hours to just clean the engine, exterior, seats and tires. The interior was not cleaned. We asked for the car to be completely detailed including engine and undercarriage. When we got the car back all of a sudden every service was separate and not included. So for $200 all that happened was exterior, engine, supposedly seats and possibly undercarriage. Tires was suppose to be included looked worse then we went in. Picture doesn't show it but car still dirty Seriously save your wallet and your time read more

Incredible servie! I really wanted my new car to be deep cleaned inside and out and searched for a place that would do just that and for a good price. Not only did Unico make my car look and feel new, but the price was incredible. The vibe at the shop was so amazing with music, laughter and energy pumping Around. What really was awesome that even though it was later in the day they were able to fit my car in. Thank you Unico, you guys are the place to be for awesome detailing services read more

Pick the package that caters to your needs. I've been coming here for a year and every time I come I leave with a smile. True professionals. They accommodated me by working late, negotiated a fair price and did a fabulous job on the car without supervision . They carefully bagged items they found under seats and inside cushions and provided them to me. They even took the car on site where we met for the appointment - which wa Avery convenient for me. When I left my keys at home accidentally, they made room in their car and offered me a ride home shotgun. Will definitely call again and I highly recommend them. read more

This is without a doubt the best carwash in the NY Met area. A bit pricier than average but well worth the extra bucks. The people are fantastic and the basic wash looked like a newly detailed car. I could have given zero stars if possible. I had just called to ask the details for interior detailing as my car seats have stains. The person on the other side was not audible clearly, so when I asked him to repeat what he is saying, he started yelling at me. Totally unprofessional behavior. I do not know if it was the owner who spoke like that but they definitely loss my business. read more

Wow they did such a good job cleaning my car! When they brought my car out I couldn't believe my car could be that shiny! Billy the owner worked on my sling shot. His professionalism has earned my business from now on.

Went in for a motor bay wash, they went above and beyond, came out way better than i expected!

Great service! Called for an engine cleaning and managed to leave faster than it took me to get there. I'll definitely be back

Services are good. The snack shop is really good and the food is fresh.Place definitely needs to have more seating available. Having a high volume of clientele and not providing a proper seating area is crazy. Waiting 2-3 hours for a car detail and not enough seats is one thing i really dislike about this place. Shoutout to all the 'gentle men' not getting up to the offer a seat to a lady. Very impressive read more

They wash the cars very good but they take too long. Expect to be here for 2-3 hour plus for a standard car wash. Is it worth it? At times yes because the job is great but if you have a set schedule for your day just set aside 3-4 hours for your car to be washed. However I got here once at 9am when it opened up and didn't leave up until 1pm. Maybe they lack the staff but the wait is excessive. read more

I used Yelp to find auto detailing around NYC. Billy @ Unico replied with low quote and superior assurance. Staff was solid @ drop-off. When I picked up car, I was amazed. Gleaming paint, chrome, wheels, tires, and on inside the rugs, mats, console, car seats, cupholders, gutters, even glove boxes, ignition. I asked for middle grade detailing - not racecar showroom but whatever it takes to get out stains and grime, wear+tear from 5 years of young kids in backseats, overstuffed locker in back, and general chaos all around. It was immaculate. The only thing Billy said they didn't do was scrub engine and match any inconsistent paint shades. I even tipped crew $30+ as signal of my satisfaction. It was a Bday surprise for my wife and I'm sure it's her favorite present. read more

This place never disappoint. Got my new 2019 Volkswagen tinted and washed. Great vibes here.

They did not clean the car good. They are too busy and they did really listen to the customer. I had to tel them to clean the dashboard.

I've been using another hand car wash for my 2017 Mercedes Benz E300. Noticed numerous swirl marks on the paint surface. Price was good but not at the price of my cars finish. Then I went to Unico. Billy gave me a tour of facility and explained their process. BEST results EVER. Then I had them buff out and apply ceramic sealant. My car looks BETTER THAN NEW! For literally a couple of dollars more, I have found the best auto retailers ever!!!! read more

These guys are great. My first "detailing" - I had just bought a very mechanically maintained, but fairly filthy 15 year old Volvo and had gotten the idea of detailing after a recent ride in my son's restored Toyota Matrix. Once I got to Unico I realized I had joined a cult. People were bringing in cars that looked to my eye "just detailed". Being new to this, I had never seen the magic finishes and restoring juices at work before. Anyway, with a nice waiting area and an attached foodery, I had a great experience. read more

One of the few places that clean under carriage. Other places kay say they do it, but when you ask about the details, you realize they don't do much of an under carriage wash at all. Was pleased with the amount of time they put into, what turned out to be a thorough cleaning. Worked with Billy. He was helpful and wanted a pleased customer, which I appreciate. Gave me a tour of the shop and their work. Impressed, so I'll go back to get interior detailing read more

I only inquired about the cost of detailing my van. Then, all of a sudden I had an appointment for this morning! I never asked for one, instead I said I would call for more information today. This is not honest business dealings. I also do not like that they want 'cash' - I don't care how good the work is they do. There are plenty of other places that do good work and treat their customers with more honesty. I for one will stay away from this place! read more

I don't normally write reviews but this one was definitely needed. Had a magnetic sticker removed that has been on my car for almost one year also wanted my car interior and exterior cleaned. I was super nervous about this but When you talk about great customer service this is the place to go. My car looks amazing way better than I thought it would. Thank you guys for a great experience will definitely be back. read more

Unico is a real gem hidden in the Bronx. Once you find it, which is not easy, you are treated to a world class detailing of your vehicle. They even made my 2002 Honda Odyssey look almost new! The owner Billy is the key to their success. After the workers finished the job nicely on my car, Billy did his own inspection. The cleaning was not up to his standards, so back into the shop the car went! One hour later, it was transformed from nice to super nice. The downside is that the whole process took 2.5 hours (with an original estimate of 1 hour) so be prepared to wait longer than you think. But the result is impressive. Unico is super clean with a comfortable but small customer waiting area. The price; super reasonable for the quality. I was quoted $30 on a cleaning inside and out; and $10 additional for lots more detailing, which I chose. read more
