I'm not really sure what Boone Container does outside of renting U-Haul equipment, but their…read morecustomer service is out of this world! Sharon, the manager at Boone Container, has helped me out in a mega way. I have to rent U-Haul equipment for various needs at various times for work, and the she has been so patient, accommodating, and flexible. She got me in touch with a gent at the U-Haul central control area, which was SUPER helpful. You never get the same answer twice when renting from the 1-800 call center folks. Having people to work with on a first name basis for an ongoing rental like this is a huge load of stress off my mind. Maybe one day I'll convince the people that need the equipment to just outright purchase it instead of continuing to rent. Until that happens, I will continue sending them to Sharon at Boone Container. She will make your equipment rental as smooth and painless as it should be. Five stars, all the way!

The reason I'm giving them two stars is because my stuff mostly ended up in my new place minus one…read moreitem that was broken during the move. There were a few things that were not great about this move and collectively makes me not recommend them. 1) They were an hour late and didn't call. I had to call them to see if they were still coming. 2) They brought to small of a truck and seem to think that I had too much stuff for a one bedroom. We had to take two trips and they try to charge me for the exccess time on the highway plus their members breaks. When I brought it up the mover said "oh yeah I forgot." I heard this quite a lot later. 3) I was quoted 3 to 5 hours in email for my job. They tried to charge me for 9, including the above. When I brought up that I was quoted 3-5 hours they told me they would have never quoted me that even though it was provided to me in writing. I told them how much furniture and clothing I had when I called to quote so it shouldn't have been a surprise for this or the truck size. 4) My bathroom cabinet was broken in the move. I didn't love it so I wasn't sad about it. The mover said that I would get reimbursed for this. He, again, forgot when I initially got the total at the end of the move and I had to remind them a couple times to ensure I got reimbursed. I did eventually get reimbursed for it. 5) I asked the movers, as I was leaving my apartment, to meet them at the house if they wanted me to stay until they had packed everything up. They said no, that I could go ahead and they would meet me down at my house. When I came back to the apartment later that night they actually left a headboard and footboard in the hallway that didn't make it on the truck. Again he said he "forgot" the item in the hallway. When I called the next day they did send the same movers out to pick it up and were going to coordinate with me to drop it off later that day. No one ever called and I had to call them the coordinate for delivery the following day. If this place could get it together it could be decent but for now I wouldn't recommend them.

When the movers arrived there were three, really? They handled the move well however at the conclusion my electric fireplace doesn't work anymore AND the bill I was given was for $784 and change. I said I'm not paying that because that isn't the amount I was quoted and there were supposed to be two men not three. The gentleman insisted that was the quote he was given by his boss. We went back and forth and then I said I was going to call his boss and ask if they had made a mistake. When I said that he said fine you can have the move for $500 plus tax!! I haven't put a claim in for the fireplace yet so we'll see what happens when I do. Will I use Good Stuff Moving again? Probably not. Would I recommend them? Not sure.
