Filling up a 30 cubic yard dumpster is something you have to experience to believe. (I helped a bit but Brook really did 95% of the work and a lot of the trash was quite heavy.) Wow...the yard hasn't been as clean as it now is in years! We still have a chicken coop to demolish but will call Paradise Landcare back when it's taken down for haulage. So I can't recommend Paradise enough. All I had to do was send them some photos of the piles of junk, old wood and brush we wanted removed, Jennifer sent me an reasonable estimate, I agreed, Brook showed up with the big dumpster on the next working day, cleaned the place up and I paid the bill on line. Until today I was nothing but completely happy with my service every Friday from HCWS. They are…read morecheaper than Tiger Sanitation and provide recycling and trash removal. We only used the trash service. So I cannot comment about recycling bins. Last week I received an email that HCWS was moving to a 1 man mechanical truck and we would receive stickers for a certain amount of overflow bags for free and if we used them up, additional stickers could be purchased. Never received the stickers so I went ahead and did the usual and neatly placed my broken down boxes near my trash bin. I happen to be in my car in the driveway when a HCWS driver with new truck came and used the mechanical to pick up the bin and dump the trash. After he was done. The trash bin fell over. I waited and watched as the truck went up the street. The driver never got out to take my boxes, nor did he pick up the trash bin that was now laying in the street. Totally unacceptable. I then called their customer service and was told to go pick up the trash bin and that me not receiving the stickers for my overflow trash was not her fault. So I'm done. I really liked this company in the beginning, but the lack of respect and good customer service is sending me back to my old company that was a little more expensive, but the employees were always very polite.

Last week, both our orange trash can and green recycling can were placed out for pickup. The recycling can was emptied, but the trash can was not. When I called to ask why, I was told a car was parked within five feet of the trash can, so their automated system could not pick it up. What is frustrating is that the recycling can was still serviced. I was told this was because recycling trucks still have a driver working from the back of the truck, while trash pickup is fully automated. As a result, we were left without trash service during the holiday season due to a parking situation outside of our control. Given the construction conditions in our neighborhood, this approach feels inflexible and unreasonable for a service I pay for. Offered no apology, credit, or zero compassion.
