Sparq Designs is a Pittsburgh-based marketing agency that was founded in 2013. According to its…read morewebsite, its services include strategy such as customer research and brand positioning, online marketing such as search engine optimization and social media, multimedia such as photography and videos, web design and development, and creative development such as identity design and brand development. My experience with Sparq Designs is not as a client but rather as a research subject. Weeks ago, Sparq Designs sent me an email to ask if I would participate in a 30-minute video interview about a particular food business. I eventually found time in my life to schedule the interview. The moderators planned to conduct the interview through Google Meet, and they started the interview on time. I used to work as I professional researcher, so I have experience with interviewing people. I thought that the moderators did an excellent job of understanding the purpose of the study, asking open-ended questions, and probing with follow-up questions. Shortly after the interview ended, a moderator emailed me the incentive, a coupon code to use at the food business. Overall, I enjoyed interacting with Sparq Designs's employees via email and the video interview, and I appreciated the incentive coupon. I encourage other people to participate in Sparq Designs's studies.

As a standard practice I was going to leave a public review of my experience working with Phil…read moreLaBoon and his company Leadstackers/ Eyeflow on google but they recently and conveniently "shut down" their business, thus preventing me or anyone from leaving a negative review.. So here I go.. BY FAR one of the worst experiences I've ever had working with another company at any capacity. I spent close in total between an extremely poor performing automation funnel and adspend just shy of 30k. In almost FIVE whole months they were only able to produce me approx $90 in revenue all while making up every excuse in the book why they couldn't perform. Terrible work quality/communication, tons of missed deadlines, and a huge lack of accountability. Said my products are too expensive, too much competition, and every other BS reason when all of the data was showing otherwise... it's funny because on my other Shopify store in 5 months I was still able to rack up about 10k in revenue purely ORGANIC. So how is that even possible the issues were with my products which have PROVEN to sell in the past. To top it off after I fired these bozos I was told in writing I would get the rest of my retainer back... all of which was later denied by Phil unless I agreed to sign a "conflict resolution" contract. At that point I would then have the rest of my money returned back to me because they felt like I was trying to "extort" them aka in realistic terms hold them accountable for all their BS promises such as "we can crush marketing." I think he meant get crushed by "marketing." It's unreal how some people conduct business. It literally blows my MIND. After doing some research I have also come into contact with another person who feels equally ripped off by Phil and his team. In my opinion, they aren't real marketers and really have no idea what they are doing. 100% AVOID these bozos.
