It has squash, asparagus and green beans. The prime rib at the carving station was cooked in a pan while you waited if you wanted it well done. The food was as good as or better than the food I have had at 4 and 5 star restaurants in Vancouver. Staff- the service was amazing. They set up the buffet with nice tablecloths and decoration. We supplied the plates and silverware but they did the entire cleanup. They were friendly and one staff member took the time to help my nephew get seconds. I couldn't have asked for more. Vivienne took the time to meet with us before hand and we talked via phone and email. She even sent us a list of potential suppliers for our linens and tableware.

Along with dinner they delivered breakfast for the next morning and boxed lunches for the boat. First night: Chicken Alfredo Pasta, Caesar Salad, Asparagus, crackers an salmon dip, with fresh Marion berry pie and Tillamook Ice cream. Breakfast: Assorted pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, orange juice. Boxed Lunches: Fresh made sandwiches, apples, assorted chip variety, homemade cookies. Second night dinner: Fresh salmon, twice baked potatoes, mixed grilled veggies, caprese skewers, homemade cookies, cheesecake. Kate's arrived at our rental on time both nights as scheduled and setup everything. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I can't stress enough how excellent the food was. This was a huge time saver once we arrived at the hotel and checked in at the front desk (located inside gift shop). We were given our room keys right away. There is a staircase and elevator available for guests staying in rooms on the 3rd floor. Our king bed balcony room was located in the main building. They also have rooms in their Annex building where the golf pro shop is located. There are no mini refrigerators, microwaves or coffee pots in the guest rooms at this hotel, so plan accordingly. They place a coffee cart at the top of the stairs for guests each morning. The Sand Trap restaurant and pub is located on site in the main building. The menu is very similar to most McMenamins restaurants, with a few more seafood items at this location on the coast. They have bicycles available for guests as well. Gearhart beach is only a block away. A beautiful beach to walk or drive on. Vehicle access is located off 10th Street. Overall, we had a wonderful first visit here! We will definitely be back. I'm not sure why it's taken us so long to stay here. I would highly recommend.

We purchased our "Passports" for part of the fun of doing things together, and outside our normal. For nearly $400 a night in their hotel we expected a few more amenities with our stay, a mini fridge would have been nice just for leftovers to enjoy when we got home. We brought our mini down blanket, and that prevented our bed being "refreshed". These are not big things to deal with, but I was disappointed with the service for the cost. I LOVE the decor, and attention to details. But the cost vs service is lacking.

My boyfriend lives out of state and ordered, online, what he said would 'knock my socks off'. He assured me for the money he spent I should be prepared to be swept away. He was right. I was swept away in disbelief at the lack of quality in the flowers, balloons and candies delivered from Natural Nook. I received the 'lack lustre' flowers which was odd to begin with and horrible as far as quality. It had 7, yes 7, older, opened and already dropping red roses and filler carnations. Not big, full, fluffy carnations but tiny ones added last minute to cheap bouquets. Which is what this was. 7 roses and cheap filler carnations? What is the specific name of that bouquet? But wait,,,,,,,, Next came the childish balloons that were tied to the vase. Not only were they colors you might send to 6 year olds birthday party but they were not tightly filled, bouncy or new looking. FYI, Some balloons are stored with a sort of powder so they do not stick together. This was not powder but actual dust!!! Dust!!! I included a photo or two after I dragged my fingers across them. And within 12 hours were deflated and not due to hot or cold temps but because they were so old! As though they had been in a shop window display WAY too long. And to add insult they delivered a box of candy from Bruce's Candy Kitchen in Cannon Beach that had old, broken, discolored chocolates. I looked on the box to check the expired date but it did not have a date stamp! I assume it is because the candy was made before expiration dates were required on food. I have been a customer of Bruce's for 30 years and have never seen broken or discolored product offered in their store. The only reason this florist received 1 star is for the Teddy Bear that was included with the other items was not old, dusty or outdated. When I contacted my boyfriend and told him how awful this delivery was he called them to talk about the problems after seeing the evidence through the pictures. The woman he spoke with said to be sure and tell me how sorry they were but no corrected order. No dozen roses minus filler carnations, fresh candy or at least new balloons??? C'mon. You're sorry? I think my boyfriend is sorry for ordering from them and I will NEVER use them to convey how much I care for someone. Natural Nook obviously cares nothing for quality OR customer service. They could have driven to Safeway and bought the $14.99 long stem roses and added their own vase and baby's breath as an apology. Or a gift certificate for Bruce's Candy Kitchen. Or a dozen NEW balloons. All of those options would have shown some level of care for me as a customer. I have included photos of the absolute horror of a disastrous delivery.

After one group is done, they sanitize the high traffic touch spots on the various set pieces and all the employees wear masks. I believe there are 8 different sets with my favorites being the promenade scene holding the light post, the inverted saloon, and the seaside sand castle! Brittany R. guided us through the various poses and she was so kind and made the experience so much more comfortable and fun! I'm really glad we got her! With almost every "scene" you'll end up doing two different poses. You give the employee your cell phone so they take every photo using your phone as well as theirs. That way you have all the photos on your phone and then you can pick the ones you'd like to print out from theirs after you finish! After looking at all our photos, there is a slight learning curve to your body position. Also be mindful of making sure everyone in your group is doing the same thing (all looking away from camera or all looking at camera). Even with the employee guiding you on where to put your hands and feet, be mindful of your body position in general and try to keep everything at the same angle/in a straight line. I'm really happy with how the photos turned out, with just 2 photos looking just slightly 'off', one of my solo photos holding the make up chair, and the other was my moms body angle holding the 2 seat bike. Otherwise, the rest were great! This was a really enjoyable activity and great to do solo, with someone else, or as a family/group! It was $25 dollars for a group of two and that came with getting all the photos taken on your phone and then being able to print out an 8x10 of your favorite shot. They also offer additional printing options in smaller sizes like 5x7 for a little extra money if you want to print more out. Worth stopping by!
