We had a buffet with appies to start. Food- was exceptional. The maple smoked salmon was awesome. The seasonal veggies were not the usual carrots and broccoli. It has squash, asparagus and green beans. The prime rib at the carving station was cooked in a pan while you waited if you wanted it well done. The food was as good as or better than the food I have had at 4 and 5 star restaurants in Vancouver. Staff- the service was amazing. They set up the buffet with nice tablecloths and decoration. We supplied the plates and silverware but they did the entire cleanup. They were friendly and one staff member took the time to help my nephew get seconds. I couldn't have asked for more. Vivienne took the time to meet with us before hand and we talked via phone and email. She even sent us a list of potential suppliers for our linens and tableware.

Lavonne had tons of great ideas of what to prepare and was flexible in working around some of our dietary restrictions. The appetizers of assorted crostinis were delicious, the burrata was a must-have, and the entire meal from the flank steak & coffee rubbed chicken to the apple crisp dessert were such a treat. She was even able to use some of the extra ingredients we had in our kitchen to add to our meal! This dinner was no doubt one of the highlights of our offsite and would highly recommend Lavonne to cater your next meal or event - delicious food plated beautifully and cooked with heart!

The team at Niblack defines what great catering looks like. It's hard to imagine a group more talented anywhere on the Oregon Coast, or frankly in Portland or the state all together. From the beginning, it was clear they were committed to helping crate an experience. They immediately grasped my vision, offered valuable input, and executed to a standard that far exceeded expectations. Their skill and thoughtfulness showed up everywhere. Carefully curated local food that was delicious and memorable (for all the right reasons!). Prepared, timed, served, and presented to perfection. Bar service: distinctive but not distractingly eccentric (no bottlenecks too). Decor and vibe: super elegant yet super accessible. When guests entered, they were awed and felt like they were going to be part of something special from the moment they stepped into the venue. It was uncanny how they seemed to anticipate everything and then deftly emerge to serve and address the inevitable eebb and flow of the event with aplomb. Communication and responsiveness were on point throughout. If all that wasn't enough, they stepped up when something beyond their control went wrong -- finding a solution to a problem they didn't create. They exemplified true service with a determination to do whatever it takes to make the event great for their client.

Prices are normal for Seaside, but high relatively speaking. Think $5 tacos and $18 burritos. $17 guacamole app. I was not complaining when we got the free chips, salsa, and bean dip! Yummy! All three solid! Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita was damn good!! It could have had a better rim! We shared Dos Amigos, which was perfect to have nothing left over. Steak was pretty good - shrimp were tasty - we chose the garlic option (Al mojo de ajo) I loved the roasted pepper, poblano maybe? Everything was good enough, but no idea how it compares to other Mexican options in town.

She met with us at the space to ensure COVID precautions could be be taken, and was helpful with suggesting things she had seen at previous events in Cannon Beach. She took care of the rentals (tables, chairs, all cutlery and serving ware), the food, and suggested a florist for our beach installation. Not to mention the food... which was unreal. I'm not kidding when I say- when we talk to our family about our wedding my dad immediately mentions the food. We were blown away- it was such an enjoyable process talking to Destiny about our food dreams and likes/dislikes and seeing what the team created from local, healthy ingredients that also reflected us as a couple. I have already recommended Destiny and Culinary Concierge to anyone who asks about our wedding but wanted to post so those looking to do a special event would feel confident in hiring them as well! Thank you again for everything!!
