We called Mcleod's more or less in a panic, on Friday at 4:30pm and they gave us tips and suggestions over the phone and helped us trouble shoot what could be wrong. After learning we would need a part replaced, and knowing we had to drive the truck back to Maryland, they offered to have it looked at at 8am the very next day, on a day they're usually closed. They repaired our truck and by 9am we had it back running again. Dan did the work on our truck and was incredibly knowledgeable and was very friendly and honest. I stated, I don't want to pay towing fees to have them look at it then be charged for diagnosed and state they can't do it, then pay for towing again to another mechanic. John abruptly responded "Well, I pass on this one" then hung up on me. I was not thrilled with the customer service.

They have something that is missing from a lot of places: Honesty and reasonableness. Mike, the owner went above and beyond on my second visit to Auto Works by bringing my car back to me at Home Depot where I work. It's only about 2 blocks away but it was a cold and windy winter night so I really appreciated this extra touch.
