    mirror maze. So much fun.
    Eden L.

We tried the mirror maze and laser tag. We loved them both. The service was average. The fun was worthy the ticket. The hotel offered us a coupon. If not, you can ask for some discount from the reception of the chain hotel. There were also two hunted houses. We just had dinner and didn't want to get scared so we gave it up after 5 seconds inside. Shame on us.

As you can see, it doesn't say online only. Misleading. Will not recommend.

Did laser tag, mirror maze and mini golf. Arcade games too. We stayed at the Hilton so it was very convenient. Had a great time!

The rec room locations in Canada had really terrible reviews and we decided to look local. Vivid's website was pretty easy to use and book our appointments, we went with the $30 pp premium for an hour (all the standard games + some others). I suggest coming earlier to get used to the controls, it's a little different. We had so much fun, highly recommended. I do love the free classic arcade games in the front that we can play as we wait. Thoughtful touch. Wish it was located more downtown near all the bars and nightlife, this place would be an even bigger hit. Looking forward to the new developments. I'd def come back again.

I forgot the name of the games that I played, but definitely try the one where you shoot the robots. It was so exciting and a bit scary as the game went on. You had the ability to move around and shoot them. Another game that I played was fighting off the demons. Had a blast killing them!! But the one down side of it was that, we weren't able to move around. Just station at one spot, but it was still fun. I'm probably the worst gamer...not coordinated at all and have a high chance that I will die first. But it was pretty easy to pick up, so I can imagine that anyone like me can have fun too. Before it was our turn, we were waiting on a group of 3 kids. Anyone could see their excitement in playing the game. It's perfect for all ages, and another way for parents to bond with the children. The customer service was great! I believe his name was Ken... Could be wrong. But he was super helpful for us beginners.

I love skee-ball, so that was one thing, but the video-arcade version of beer pong was not something I was expecting. The pinball games ranging from the old school cog version, to the 80s version where computers started to get involved, to the modern ones made just this year showcased a real range. What was incredibly exciting was being able to play a number of Mario Kart arcade game races, that I see for three or four dollars a race at other arcades. Couple that with the incredible food options (Deep fried mac and cheese wedges, deep fried mars bars, deep fried... everything!) and at prices that have you snacking and grazing through the whole thing. It's a great place for kids, too. The only thing is kids need to be out by 8pm. But, there's a lot to do before then.

Not that a pool hall is necessarily where they should be to begin with. I wish they had an unlimited play option. Awesome hangout spot or place to bring a date. Leave the little kids at home.

We were there on a Monday night and there were a couple of people on the floor fixing pinball machines. It's really cool to have an active person working to fix them, I'm sure it takes a lot of manage with as many pinball machines as they have. The one thing is they are a bit rude. Twice we were playing a machine and were asking to move because they were trying to get by with tools or another machine. And when your actively in a game of pinball you can't stop or you will lose so pretty rude they didn't just wait for you to be done or come back when the walkway was clear. My favorite machines are Metallica, Scooby-doo and fun house. Those were the most fun. The fun house machine particularly I thought was in very good shape, Scooby-doo is pretty cool also. I couldn't leave buffalo without having buffalo wings and even though this place isn't know for the that the food was surprisingly good and cheap. We got 10 wings and I split them with my husband. They were mild. Def spicy but not too too spicy and the wings were super crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Blue cheese was good too and they gave baby carrots. When they came out they were steaming hot. You could literally see the steam come off of them. Wished we lived here so we could come more often!

We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.
