The item when quickly located had a minor (seemingly cosmetic) and verified that I still wanted it. I did and was reminded of the warranty if it was proved to be than cosmetic. I can't say enough about how positive this experience was. The place was super clean and bright, ample parking and easy to access. If you need their services I highly recommend. I found them on EBay but realizing they were local I went to them. I'm glad I did!

Promising me delivery the next day (Thursday). Thursday rolls around and I call to confirm as I did the previous day. Only to be told the driver WON'T be able to deliver since it will put him out of his usual route. He (Luis) apologizes and swears up a down that his word is good. Even though Monday he made a promise he couldn't keep. So I call my mechanic and tell him the bad news. He's already upset since we missed the Wednesday "alleged" delivery date. Friday I call and speak with him again and he says, I thought we delivered it yesterday. I'm my head I'm like is he serious? He apologized and told me Friday. I wait on hold and he says, it's been delivered yesterday. I said are you sure? He says yes. I called mechanic and he confirms it was delivered late in the day prior. So why the hell would Bow Auto Parts apologize to me and not even tell me. Hey btw, we got it there for you. If I had to do it again I'd probably seek another place. Proceed with caution.

I stopped at the Concord, NH Auto Zone this morning at around 9:30 or 9:45 am. I am being specific…read morebecause I forgot to get the name of the helpful person that assisted me. I thought the time frame may help for management to know who was working this morning. Earlier, when cleaning snow off my windshield, I bumped my windshield wiper with my snow broom. The wiper blade broke and a part fell off. I saw a colleague at work too, clearing snow and asked him for help. He had a look and said the wiper was broken and I needed a new one. I ended up at Auto Zone right after this. The man that helped me was having a look at the part I brought in and then I also handed him a smaller piece that had come off. Immediately he took the small piece I gave him and he was able to connect it to the other piece. He said, you don't need a new wiper blade. He then walked me to my car and reattached the piece to the wiper part. I asked if I owned him any money for his help and he smiled and said no and to have a great day. I sure wish I had asked his name. I am very happy for the kind, helpful and courteous service that I received from the Fort Eddy Rd. location. His kindness and great customer service made my day. And he did not have to be honest. He could have easily sold me a new windshield wiper. Thanks for your honestly and great manners and outstanding customer service.

They have been generally…read moreaccommodating, very personable, lately very concerned with COVID-19, a very nice operation, the niceness of which mitigates at times the unpleasantness of parting with thousands of dollars in repair bills. Two years ago I took my Saab 9000 to them to replace the steering wheel column bushing. When I took possession of the car, I could not see it because it was daytime, but I had no instrument panel lights. In the course of my own subsequent investigation, after I had removed the dashboard fascia and steering wheel surround, I saw that the electrical connection to the lighting which had to have been disconnected to make the repair had not been reconnected. Let's get one thing straight: these connections do not disconnect themselves. Air bag connectors, pollution control connectors, all these new connectors are designed to stay connected and one often needs two hands to make the disconnect. I spoke to Tim about it, and he was rather non-plussed, as if it were not a big deal and there was no, "Sorry, someone screwed up. We'll make it up to you next time." Now, several years later, and I had bought a two hundred dollar part which I knew I needed, but which I could not install myself because of a shoulder injury after I had tried to do it. So Focus Automotive has now informed me they will not install customer-supplied parts. I have rarely walked out of their facility with less than a thousand dollar bill. I have never questioned the cost of a repair. I pay by check. There was never a dispute. Rather than say, "Oh, pay us what we'd make on the part if we had furnished it," no, I get the part for which I had already paid sitting in my back seat and another one installed by them in the AC system for which I was now paying again. Businesses have policies. If it is so important to Focus Automotive that they make the message, then they have made the message. I don't want special treatment. I just want fair treatment. I would not tell people, "Yes, take the parts you bought to them and they'll install them." That is why I shall be taking my automotive repairs to another firm in the future. Focus Automotive obviously has enough business that they can afford to lose me as a customer. That is as it shall be.
