I began using Pocono Dream Clean for my vacation rental cleanings in February 2020. The first few…read morecleanings were very good but as time went on, the cleanings became sloppier and sloppier and renters complaining that my place was dirty when they arrived. I had complaints from my renters ranging from hair found around the bathroom sinks, sticky doorknobs and dirty light switches. The worst incident was when the company owner sent me a picture of a stain in the bedroom and I asked if she used the Resolve carpet cleaner to get it out. She replied that she already left my home and she did NOT clean it. In addition, (unless I asked), I was rarely made aware of repairs that needed to be done or items that needed to be replaced. For example, I had a hole in my back screen door and I found out about it several months after the hole was made when my husband and I went up there for a visit. The final straw came in October when I received a very unprofessional email from the owner stating that due to a staff shortage she can no longer clean my place and good luck in the future. I received this email on a Tuesday and the crew was scheduled to clean the following Thursday as well as 2 other cleanings that were on her calendar. The owner said she would speak with me that evening but did not return my text or phone message. I would not recommend this company due to the sloppiness and unprofessional actions.

Since we moved to the area finding good cleaning service has been a challenge. Equally difficult…read morewas to have them keep their appointment - two companies wanted to change time/date at the last minute. We found Emily and her team in Care.com and hired them for initial cleaning of our new home that badly needed professional touch. We were very pleased with the result. They were meticulous. They completely got rid of old dirt from window frames, old curtains, etc.,; dirty tiles in kitchen and bathroom are now fresh and clean.. I have two small children and felt great that they could enjoy a clean, toxic chemical-free home. If you must use conventional chemicals, talk to them beforehand and they may be able to accommodate you. In any case, they are reliable and do a great job and I highly recommend them.

My wife and I purchased a new home in Eagle Rock and had difficulty finding a cleaning service to…read moredo a deep clean on the property prior to our move in. I decided that EMC was the only service that may be able to handle a larger home and booked with them. Very disappointed in the work. I specifically requested a deep clean with attention paid to the kitchen and bathrooms. I also requested the floors to be cleaned along with the windows. Most of the floors were cleaned well but many were not. All of the windows were done well. The kitchen and bathrooms were only wiped down. Neither the refrigerators nor the oven was pulled back to clean their sides and the flooring underneath the appliances. They did offer to come back and we did our best to show them the deficiencies and they did what we pointed out but much was lacking. It was clear that they are not capable to do deep cleaning. They are fine for weekly wipe down of commercial spaces because you don't live at a work place and no one really monitors the details. As far as house cleaning they are not the company to call. I paid $1500 for a very poor job. Lesson learned. As a side note, they are very nice and friendly but that only goes so far. I should have been offered a refund or better yet they should have never accepted the job.
