I had the cleaning company come in the day I was induced with my son just so we could be out of the house and let them clean. I had a $250 gift card and also spent an extra $172 (plus a 15% tip) on the service. I went with a deep clean and also paid extra for my windows, oven and fridge to be cleaned. Upon coming home to what I thought would be a clean house I was overly disappointed to see that multiple areas were untouched, my oven was not cleaned, they basically sprayed my tubs and just rinsed them with water leaving water marks all over and didn't scrub them as explained would be done. Two of the windows I paid extra for still had handprint marks on them. Toys and food were still under the sofa, my dryer still had lint all over it, my dining room table was not even wiped down, there were empty soda cans that weren't thrown out, my cabinets still had sauce marks on them, and much much much more. I had emailed the owner Katherine H about basically paying over $400 dollars to basically have my rugs half vacuumed and my beds made. My cameras seen that two ladies came in to clean at 830 and were gone by 1 (not even a full 5 hours for what was said would be a 8-10 hour service). Her response at first was "per policy you have 24 hours to report these things" (tho she knew i was at the hospital having a baby). It was until I sent pictures of the house that she decided to offer half off another cleaning service. I explained to her that I wanted some kind of refund because I didn't want the team back in my house while my newborn was in the house, nor did I trust the company to come back after seeing what they did. She then offered a free cleaning service and they would come back, I again explained i did not want this, and the house should have been cleaned right the first time. I then got a response of "I'm a small business owner and woman of color and have worked very hard and haven't had any complaints or issues because of my extra effort to always maintain our customers home to being beautiful and sometimes mistakes happen" I totally understand missing one or two spots in the house, but the whole house had MULTIPLE spots that were completely untouched and the areas that were "cleaned" were barely that. The owner insisted she would not refund any money, and that was the last I heard from her. I have disputed the charges on my credit card and also posted pictures of the house (sparing even more that I have). I trusted the company and spent a lot of money to come in and deep clean and save me the stress of having to do this with a newborn, and I got the complete opposite. Save yourself the time, stress and money and go with another cleaning service.
