They helped me look up my insurance, gave me my coverage, and answered so much more detailed confusing insurance stuff that regular people like us will never understand. Dr. Braga's skills and expertise are top-notch. His ethical standards of care are impeccable. Over my three years of seeing him, I experienced two big gum graft surgeries with him. The surgeries were successful and with minimal pain. He called me afterwards each time to make sure recovery was okay. In the lead up to the surgeries, he explained all the pros and cons of various options to me. He happily answered questions and went above and beyond to educate me, the patient. For example, when explaining the choice between using cadaver tissue vs. my own, he brought out slides to show me the difference. He told me not just "do this" but gave probabilities and statistics. His style is 'show vs tell' and I appreciate that as a patient. It comes down to the fact that he loves his field, and he is a good person. You get the sense that he really loves his profession and solving problems for patients. Finally and just as important, the office's hygienist Carmela is outstanding. Hello friends. Scheduled an appointment in early April to get the gums redone. Unfortunately Dr…read more Mata was sick so they rescheduled me on his off day the following Monday. Sadly he was still sick. We scheduled an appointment for May 7. Thankfully he was healthy that day and he and his great assistant did the procedure. There were plenty of novocaine shots but they didn't hurt that much and Dr. Mata warned me when it would pinch. The procedure took a little over an hour and was basically pain free. He was polite and professional and warned me to close my eyes when he used a needle to put in stitches. His assistant was very meticulous about giving me aftercare instructions and both told me and gave me a printout of what to do and not do. I asked Dr. Mata questions and he was polite. It couldn't have gone better. I made an appointment to get stitches removed on May 29. The May 29 appointment went off without a hitch and he saw me a half hour before my appointment time. It took him about five minutes to remove the stitches and there was no need for a novocaine shot. It was pain free. He told me what I needed to do and answered my questions. They made sure they had the name and contact information for my dentist so they could update them. The area looks good and healthy. The gum line's been raised and the gums look red and healthy. There's a small area beneath the gum line that's whitish. I alerted Dr. Mata about this on May 23 and he responded quickly. I texted him a pic and he said it looked okay and to avoid the area. He said it was healing and continue to heal. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to heal. I've been diligently following the aftercare instructions and I advise anyone reading this to do what the assistant says and to read the list as many times as necessary. Speaking from experience from an occasion when I didn't follow the instructions, following them is the only way to go. He said my next step is to get a cleaning in a few weeks. I couldn't brush or floss the teeth he improved the gums for until I got the stitches out so that area needs attention. The time between the procedure and getting stitches out was 22 days. I'll provide an update in a few months. Hoping things work out. Dr. Mata is a very patient and gentle man. if anything he errs on the side of caution which I greatly appreciate.

We're also surprised and grateful that Dr. Yen, treated us like family, constantly trying to save us money, he tirelessly and patiently explaining to my husband, twice I think, how and why treating three different areas in one visit, saving at least $2,300 than what my husband's brother suggested better to split into three or more different visits. Dr. Yen called and checked on me @ 7:00 pm tonight, after he saw more patients after he extracted, cleaned, and bone grafted my #30 tooth, and cleaned #31 all done by 4:00 PM (in less than an hour), I am so impressed, he kept me informed of the different types of surgery procedures all throughout the surgery, I only felt very minimal pain from the local anesthesia needle, no pain, no swelling, no bleeding as far as I could tell, how's it possible? The lengthy instructions clearly stated to use ice packs, 10 mins on 10 mins off for first 24 hrs (3 packs were provided), then warm heat packs for next 24 hrs to break up swelling and minimize bruising, I tried for less than 30 mins while driving home post surgery, then stopped, since there's no need, no swelling, no bleeding, and no bruising at all. I am so thankful for Dr. Yen's incredible expertise, and Dr. Yen is so humble, he asked me how do I know he's done such an amazing job? I think it's quite self explanatory, when those possible bad/worse/worst scenarios are not happening to me, Dr. Yen has done a fantastic job! Right?

It can be a little confusing when you walk in but go straight to the counter for a sign-in sheet. My technician/hygienist was nice and pretty funny. They have a little TV screen so you can watch content while you wait. They were really busy but I got seated pretty quickly and my teeth cleaning was thorough but pretty fast. The parking lot is pretty weird though. You have to go through a loop. I recommend parking near the restaurant at the end of the complex!
