I'm writing this review to warn others about my disappointing experience with NFM LENDING (Andy Beigel). Despite putting 25% down and having a credit score over 800, I was charged $19,418.88 for an interest rate buy-down -- a fee that was never clearly explained or justified during the process. With such a strong financial profile, I expected better rates and more transparency. Instead, I felt blindsided by this massive fee at closing. The communication throughout was poor, and it felt like I was being penalized rather than rewarded for being a well-qualified borrower. This was not the level of service or honesty I expected. If you're working with this lender, ask detailed questions about points and rate adjustments early, and do not assume you're getting the best deal just because you qualify for one. I will not be recommending this lender to anyone read more

What a terrible experience. Every step of the way there were twists and turns. The loan disclosures were anything but transparent. Even the hard numbers like my deposits were not correct. Finally 4 days before closing they spring on us a figure that was continuously a seller paid item on all disclosures is now the buyers responsibility. If I have a dollar for every hour I spent on the phone or emailing back and forth... Sadly I had another lender with a lower interest rate and was completely transparent, but I switched to NFM because they're the builder's preferred and offered incentives for doing so. Well at the end of the phantom cost at closing pretty much wiped out the incentive. Oh and since I was within 60 days of the closing date I could not change lenders again. Buyer beware! read more

Once we got a house picked out, everything was super fast and efficient and Molly and Mike had the process planned out step by step. NFM Lender Dale Davis in Colorado will call your phone, use your name and pretend like someone has passed away and people are coming to your house, and you are responsible for driving a child to a dance just to get you to call him back. READ THIS REVIEW All around horrible experience. Their fees start out extremely high, so continued looking elsewhere and quickly found two other options that were substantially cheaper. To no surprise, after we disclosed this the person I was working with at NFM came back with a number that was ultimately the cheapest option long-term, so we decided to proceed. Big mistake. We made him put all of these numbers in writing before doing so, which ultimately turned out to be a wise decision. The final loan disclosure we received had a substantially different cost associated than the other 2-3 disclosures we had been sent prior, which I didn't catch until the day of closing. I reached out to have this rectified, which most companies would have done without question as soon as they realized a mistake was made. We proceeded to go back and forth on this matter for weeks, with prior documentation ultimately being the reason they agreed to pay us back for their error. This was in July of this year, and it is now almost November and I still haven't received the check that was supposed to have been sent. The point of contact that I've had usually just ignores messages that I send to follow up and get updates, and then gives a lot of attitude because he's pissed off that he has to deal with the situation. Luckily for me, I have a family member that is very familiar with mortgage loans who was able to help me throughout this process and really kept me from getting completely screwed over. After recently scrolling through all of the fake reviews they had on their facebook page, I found a few real people who had also had bad experiences with this company where numbers had magically changed throughout the process which is not a surprise after the experience I've had. I would highly recommend pursuing other options if you want to avoid a lot of unnecessary stress on your life. This is the first review I've ever written in my 29 years of life but I felt it necessary to help out any other potential home buyers. Good luck in your search! read more

I never directly applied to NFM Lending, as Mr. Roger Dennis, whom I applied to for a mortgage loan never gave my name as an applicant to NFM Lending instead purported my significant other as the primary lender and lone applicant. I did interact with the head of the company after complaining to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about Mr. Dennis's business practise. NFM Lending perhaps is a good company but not too sure if a person like Roger Dennis is part of its personnel. read more

with 80% down and perfect credit you would think a mortgage would be smooth sailing but treated like a criminal the entire time. I'm guess there must be quite a few foreclosures out there when people put 80% down. nothing short of idiots. read more

Disclosed information about a prior relator I used that affected the acceptance of an offer I had made. Also when I called to discuss my rate he informed me the selling agent said my offer was not put together wrong (told my agent in my current state something different) and how my old relator would have gotten me the house. This led to me discovering he disclosed to this agent that I used to use the other guy (they work for the same realty company) and she for hung up on it and wouldn't stop talking about it to my realtor. This was so unprofessional and had made me question if I had lost other homes due to this information being given out when it has nothing to do with my loan or qualifications. Got a new lender who was appalled by this behavior. Seriously don't use them cause if you wrong one of their buddies it'll affect you poorly. read more

I was SERIOUSLY impressed with the incredible communication from Mary Sirico Levinson and her lending team. I was the buyer's agent, and text updates about the loan would come to both me, the buyer, and the seller's agent! That calmed by first time buyer's stress, and was seamless for easy communication between me and the seller's agent. Mary's initial phone call with the seller's agent of the buyer's strength to consummate the sale also helped my buyer to win the deal in multiple offers. I am grateful and would be excited to work with her again. Only imperfection was the little bit slower than normal speed of the appraiser in visiting the house, but they still managed to meet all deadlines and close the deal on time. And Mary's underwriter FULLY APPROVED the buyer for financing before the appraisal even showed up! How cool is that? read more

Here is what i have to say about this company.It seems like they work with you until they take your money for appriasal fee. Once they take it you have to make several effort to get the update. They hold you just before the closing date and ended up saying sorry we can not approve the loan now. According to their so called best loan officer there has been change in guideline 3 month ago and they just came to know it today. They took my appraisal fee and they didn't even send me an appraisal report. Ridiculous!! be ware of them. I do not recomend this company. read more

You get what you pay for. I was initially impressed. Great service, very responsive and nice. Also able to get a better rate than most major banks. However, the end result was that I would not recommend this company to anyone and would rather chance paying a significantly higher rate with a major bank then go here. Our settlement ended up being almost 2 months late and we almost lost the house due to that. We would be asked for documents and we would send them. Then two days before closing they would suddenly need more that they didn't know about before. That meant closing was pushed back. This happened about 3-4 different times, pushing closing back 3-4 different times. The 3rd or 4th time I was told that it happened that particular time because one of the associates was on vacation. Basically that meant that because someone went on vacation we missed another closing date. I was told roughly 3 times "these are the last documents we need". "Oh wait, closing is 12 hours away, yea we need this other document that'll take you 3 days to get, oops". Not only was it unfair to us but also to the seller.
