The data storage is attached to the logic board. My desperation made me ignore any poor reviews. SO happy I did. The folks at Mac East (Kathleen and Barry) were friendly and professional in how they explained the many steps needed to try to revive a wet MacBook. They under-promised and - WOW - did they OVER-deliver! I a week they called to say they had been successful. The Mac was working and the data saved AND backed-up. Honestly, I would have paid them $1000. They charged me $85. $85! Mac East turned my worst computer experience into my best. TEN STARS!

I live in a very small student flat with two roommates and the wifi would not reach to our bedrooms. I would have to physically sit next to the router to take work zoom calls and they still would not work properly. We had people come in to look at the set up to try and help us in any way and were told because the house is old the connection will never be good. We were unnecessarily charged many times for random things and even canceling the service was a massive headache. I highly recommend if you live in an older Halifax student housing do not use Eastlink as your wifi provider they are literally useless. After we cancelled with Eastlink and switched to Bell (we pay the exact same price per month) it works SO WELL. I couldn't even watch Netflix in my bedroom before and am now able to take work zoom meetings.
