We return the next morning to pick him up and we were greeted by a very unprofessional staff member who kept stating no visitation until the weekend. My husband and I thought we were going to fight to get our son. I finally told another staff member what we were told the day before and we were not leaving without our son. We placed my mother in this facility for rehabilitation, and while some aspects were acceptable,…read moreour overall experience was disappointing. Toward the end of her stay, she developed sepsis, which required hospitalization. The night before she was admitted, she knew she had a fever and sure enough when she went to the hospital she had a high fever of 102°F, but the attending nurse insisted she was fine--despite my mother expressing otherwise that same night very disappointed that she didn't listen to my mother this situation could've been avoided . This delayed response raised serious concerns about the attentiveness and quality of care. This facility was recommended to us as one of the better rehab options, but my mother felt that the care and therapy she received did not meet her expectations or needs. While a few staff members were friendly and helpful, the overall experience fell short of what we hoped for. She is now settled in a different facility, and we would not return to this one. I would hesitate to recommend it to others. However, if options are limited, it may still be considered over other facilities--but with caution

This morning my mother was on the way to the center and when she got there my grandmother was unconscious, the staff did nothing and if my mother wasn't there things could have gone another way. My grandmother told the staff she could not breathe multiple times (she told us this when she came to at the hospital)and they did nothing!!! When mom said she's calling 911 and asked what happened they kept telling her no please ( they must get in trouble if someone else calls) and they finally called. My mother talked to her 45 mins prior to arriving and she was awake so this happened within a 45 minute span. She couldn't even get proper care for 24 hours without almost losing her life. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!! Thank God my mom was there

Raleigh Rehab cheated me. They received Medicare payments for my late husband's stay there AND…read morecollected payments from me too. My husband ran out of Medicare coverage for skilled nursing facilities last Fall. How Raleigh Rehab was able to bill Medicare is something to be explored. Since I paid in advance for my husband's stay there I am still waiting for reimbursement from them because he was moved to hospice in the middle of the month. Raleigh Rehab said they'd "Look into it." but I haven't heard anything from them even though six weeks has passed. On Monday I will turn this whole mess over to Medicare. I feel assured they will investigate and take the appropriate action.

This was after she got kicked in the stomach by another resident, her purse was stolen, and she was neglected and ignored by many. She never received a documented care plan and all we experienced was routine shoulder shrugging. There are a lot of sad parts of this long story but few are as pathetic as the fact that the only time we feel their sense of urgency is now, on Yelp where they're suddenly interested in talking. That says everything to our family about this facility's priorities.

Families, please do your research…read more What I witnessed at this facility was a huge gap between what was promised and what was delivered in terms of care. The administration is not only poorly managed but seems indifferent to the well-being of its residents. The turnover rate for staff is alarmingly high, which speaks volumes about the toxic work environment and lack of training or support provided to employees. As a result, the level of care my mother received was inconsistent at best, and at worst, neglectful. Some of the staff were caring people, without a doubt, but staff were frequently overwhelmed, confused and unfamiliar with residents due to turnover. Communication from the administration to families was almost nonexistent. When I reached out with concerns, I was met with indifference or vague reassurances that were never followed through on. Clearly, the main concern of the administration is profits. This is not the kind of care anyone deserves, especially our senior loved ones who should be treated with dignity and respect.
