Went to the Autobarn in Oak Park Illinois to get a CPO 2024 XC60. I printed out the ad from…read moreCars.com to make sure they honored their price because their ai generated email was trying to tac on an additional $1500. Anyway I get there and the salesman I worked with was friendly and the sale was going great up until the car registration. The price of registration was not included in the check that I gave them from my bank. (Words of advice, always get a purchase agreement from the dealer and finance through your bank if at all possible) No big deal, I can just write them a check. The salesman tells me its gonna be $400. I tell him that I plan to transfer my plates. I'm from Wisconsin. In Wisconsin title transfer cost $214 and plate transfer is $12, new plates is $85. The salesman disappears for 10 minutes. He comes back and says I cant do that because I dont have the vehicle registration. Ok no problem just give me a 90 day permit just like any other dealership. He says he cant do that became I'm from out of state and that the car can't leave the lot until I get the car registered. At this point im getting irritated because it doesn't cost $400 to register a car in Wisconsin. So I'm like what ever. Then he tells me that its $600. I'm like you just told me it was $400 ten minutes ago, and hes acting like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. Now I'm getting that feeling like I'm about to get f--k. I tell him what it cost to register a car in Wisconsin and their finance guy is telling me that they go through some service and that if it cost what I say then I will get a check in the mail. I have bought many cars from out of state and I have never experienced this before. So until I get that check in the mail, this is my review.

Late review but better than never! Hubby was looking to purchase a car. We had been to a few auto…read moreplaces but were very unsuccessful in our search. He did see a BMW sedan that he liked from another dealership but they gave him the runaround when it came down to go through the financing aspect. So we continued looking around and came upon a BMW that was for sale here that was the same year and make so we decide to make the long drive from the city to Palatine, IL. We had a 3/23/24 2 p.m. reservation. We walk in and are greeted by Yuriy. At first personally I didn't really care for him because he seemed like he was a fast talker. He brought out the vehicle we were interested in for us to look at which is on this youtube video here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtrI1vLjVRc&list=PLfkKXXdkDoxcwgDaQ7D5k3nYZnhohjhiU]. Upon looking at the vehicle, I noticed that there were noticeable scratch marks on the vehicle that you couldn't see on the pictures they had. I could tell hubby was a bit disappointed because he could see himself in that car. Yuriy kept the process going and wanted to show us some other luxury vehicles they had in stock. Hubby saw a 2012 Mercedes that caught his eye so Yuriy quickly went to get it. When he let us look at it, it was beautiful. Silver grey, one owner who took very good care of the car and not a scratch on the car. No accidents. We test drove it and it was super smooth. Yuriy seemed genuinely happy that we saw something we liked. He gave us the CarFax information. Hubby gave me that look to say "I want this car". We went through the process of paperwork and the explanation of extended warranty. We were there for awhile. I think hubby thought he was going to leave there with no car but Yuriy changed that and saved the day! He really took time with us and never rushed us out. I would highly recommend Car City. We had a good experience and they pride themselves on having trusted mechanics on site to inspect the cars before they go out on the lot to be sold. Thanks Car City - Hubby still is loving his car and no repairs since! A+!

Buying a car can be stressful, especially when you're trying to figure out financing and make the right decision, but he never once made me feel pressured. He was honest, patient, funny, and genuinely cared about helping menot just making a sale. When my mom and I came in, he took the time to answer every question we had, explain everything clearly, and help us find the right vehicle. He even helped us figure out financing options, and I truly felt like he wanted what was best for me. The owner was just as amazing. He was kind, easy to talk to, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. You can tell they truly care about their customers. I've now had my car for about a month, and it's been running perfectly. That gave me even more confidence that I made the right choice. In a business where trust means everything, they earned mine. Their honesty, professionalism, and kindness made this one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. Thank you, Maaz, and everyone at Ideal Cars, for making such an important purchase feel so easy. I'll gladly recommend you to my family and friends, and when it's time for another vehicle, I won't hesitate to come back.

I work late hours and couldn't make it during regular business time, but Maaz went above and beyond -- he stayed at the dealership until 9:30 PM just to help me wrap everything up. He even drove 10 minutes to drop off my rental car and brought me back himself! That kind of dedication is rare to find. Another thing that really impressed me is their new virtual business office -- it's something completely new in the market and made the whole process so convenient and efficient. The team in the virtual office was extremely helpful and made everything smooth and stress-free. The entire team treated me like family from start to finish. Because of this experience, Ideal Cars is officially my family's dealership -- every future car will come from them. I absolutely love my Lexus IS250 and couldn't be happier!

The look of the establishment made a good impression on me. Made me think this place is really all about cars and selling a great vehicle. Did I mention the dealer was indoors? Really nice establishment that made the car buying experience great. Netmortorcars has high end vehicles intermediate and lower end vehicles to suit all car buyers. Definitely give them a look see if you're in the market for a used car. I'd been driving the Jeep pretty hard since 2017 with no major issues. the car was rust free and at first glance looked great. I'm a big White Sox fan so the color was exactly what I wanted. No major issues at, just minor. Had to replace a couple of air/tire sensors. Other than that car was fantastic! Why did I say was?! Well as we all know FCA in 2018 decided to surprise us all with the body style change of the wrangler so I had to have it. Traded the Jeep in. Got about $26k for it towards the JL. I believe I paid $33K for the JK. Got to admit had I known FCA was going to change I would have waited. The reason why I waited so long to do a review is because I don't believe in reviewing big ticket items right away. I must say though. I enjoyed the experience and the vehicle. Overall car was a beast. Definitely check this place out
