I also want to mention, we first used Mr Electric of Littleton (Yosemite location) 3 years ago, and they've been the only people we've used for our electrical work every since. There has been zero drop in quality of people, or work. We had a European light fixture we had to install, and as I learned they do not install the same in the US. Thankfully, Robert is from Poland so he knew exactly what that difference was! With some quick thinking, he found a very good solution to hang it. It wasn't the "intended" way to hang it, but after explaining to me (in detail) he made sure we were both in agreement that it was a good solution. I'm very impressed with how he managed to resolve this. Without him, I would've had to have somebody come in and replace the entire bracket. The fixture was very delicate, and he treated it as such. He even asked me for a soft pad to place pieces on as he worked. He was extraordinarily friendly, honestly it was like having a (electrician) neighbor come over. I just can't recommend him enough.

When Tim from R&A Enterprises came out for the initial assessment, we started with the panel. To say it was a mess would be an understatement. As Tim put it, "You're not in immediate danger, but..." That's when you know there could be problems. What should have been a 150-amp panel was actually only running on 50. Tim took the time to walk through the entire house with us at our pace, explaining what we had, pointing out where corners had been cut, and referencing code along the way. We did get another bid that came in close on price, but ultimately chose R&A, and I'm very glad we did. Our panel upgrade was scheduled as a one-and-a-half-day job, but it ended up taking nearly a week due to hidden challenges along the way. R&A handled everything with patience and professionalism, making sure the work was done right. We now have a properly functioning 200-amp panel with the capacity to add EV charging in the garage when the time comes. What really sets R&A apart is their customer service.
