I waited for over an hour and a half while other walk-ins were called ahead of me. 3. When I inquired, the attendant checked her system and discovered she had sent the required check-in text to the wrong number, making me wait needlessly. 4. Despite this being her error, she stated she could do nothing, and I was forced to start the queue over again. This negligence turned a long wait into a two-hour-plus ordeal while I was already severely ill. The front desk staff desperately needs to be trained on clear patient communication and check-in protocol, especially regarding critical next steps like text message confirmations. So after 2 + hours wait I gave up and went to Memorial Herman Urgent care literally 4 mins away from this location and they see me right away!

The visit cost $150, and I left unsure of what he was even trying to communicate -- he seemed to be joking at a time when it was completely inappropriate. When I expressed that I found his attitude rude, he responded with, "That's fine," and didn't seem to care. I mentioned I would leave a review, and he simply said, "Totally fine." It's frustrating to be treated this way, especially by someone who isn't even the owner of the practice. I don't believe money justifies poor behavior. I have more income than Surgeon. Definitely more than Family Doctor, yet I treat others with respect. This experience was unprofessional and frankly, unacceptable.

However, my most recent visit over the weekend was deeply disappointing. I came in around 9:10 AM, right as the office opened, needing a physical done urgently. The front desk staff member seemed noticeably reluctant to assist, even though the office wasn't busy. She told me, "Dr. Okonji is not here," in a dismissive tone, as though I was there for a casual visit. Then she added, "I don't think Bola will do it," without any explanation or attempt to clarify who Bola was. I had to suggest she at least ask. She briefly went to the back and returned to say they couldn't do it and advised me to go to my PCP--as if I hadn't already considered that option before coming to urgent care. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I understand policies and constraints, but I also know the value of being responsive and empathetic--especially in urgent care settings where patients often don't have the luxury of waiting for a PCP appointment. This experience was a stark contrast to the professionalism I've previously received at Excel, and I hope it's addressed so other patients don't feel similarly dismissed

A nurse came right away and did the medical chart so as a doctor as well. After brief examination, they run a CT scan and they did the preparation on her. Two people were sitting in the front, laughing and chatting. They did not seem concerned or a place where they take care of "urgent" matters. I gave my insurance and they told me to complete the 10 page questionnaire online. It took some time for me to load it, after connecting to internet, when I got to the last page, an error page loaded. I felt hopeless with my kid crying. My husband tried again from his phone and thankfully was successful. We were seen after 25 min. Which isn't too bad but I felt frustrated considering the login issues and hearing the front desk folks laughing while my baby was in pain. My son got seen but I can't comment on the care received since they didn't allow both parents in the urgent care room. I know that memorial Herman urgent care allows both parents and seem to show more urgent like caring behaviors.

I'm a first-timer to the Kelsey-Seybold system, and my initial experience was a good one. Calling their reservations hotline was a breeze; they take your particulars over the phone so you don't have to fill out forms when you get there. Luckily I was able to get an appointment quickly with the pediatrician I wanted. The receptionists were nice and efficiently got my file ready and my credit card on record (I paid out of pocket.*) The nurse who took my son's particulars was a sweetheart and also helped me get set up with their online services so I could see any results from our visit. The wait for the doc was long but worth it. Dr. Richard Byrd was very friendly and a non-alarmist (something I really appreciate!) answering all our questions, putting our minds at ease, doing a thorough physical exam, and confirming everything the Hong Kong doctors have said about my son. My faith in HK public health clinics is solidified! The reason I called was to asked how they even got her name and my husband's number in that clinic if we have never even heard of this clinic nor been to it. Be careful with this seems like they have children's information without the parents even knowing about it and if you ask them how they got it they give you an attitude instead of wanting to help you..
