J.T. and Gio are both extremely knowledgeable, and their teaching gives real world results without the judgment. What I appreciated the most from lessons with these two is the no BS way they teach. They will give you the raw, unadulterated truth on what you're doing that's holding you from your goal (mine was a slice off the tee), how to fix it, what that fix is supposed to FEEL like, and how to repeat the fix with as little input as possible. What sets them apart from a lot of coaches is they expect you to be honest with yourself, and hold yourself accountable to what works and that really resonates with me. Since my lessons to fix my driver woes my handicap has dropped 4 full points, I'm averaging 290 yards (from 272 via Arccos data tracking), and have improved to 52% FIR (from 28%). They're already the most reasonably priced indoor simulator club anywhere, and those lessons were worth every penny. Plus, J.T. and Gio are just good guys to hang around. Came here on a Saturday morning with friends. It was my first time going to TopGolf and after…read morehearing the raving reviews, I was very excited for my experience. I was so surprised that the place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 930am. The demographic was quite diverse from families with kids to people with friends and to couples. Lots of people brought their own clubs too. (Don't worry, they provide clubs and label them with large beginner ones too). The bays were comfortable. They had heating when it was about 50 and drizzling outside and I felt comfortable and warm. The games were easy to set up. I feel like I didn't fully grasp how to play and was just swinging the ball out there for the fun of it (still somehow ranked 2nd place among my friends :P) Our attendant was super helpful and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu wasn't as expensive as I had imagined which is a plus too. The food did take a little bit of time to come out. Wish they provided water for the bays and napkins. I appreciated my time and can see the appeal. I'm glad there's one opening closer to me so hopefully I can go again and get a better grasp on the game!

The accessibility from the parking lots in Jersey City wasn't great (shuttles) but at least the buses were A/C'd last year (2014 from the regular lots in Paramus they weren't necessarily with A/C on). The facilities have a little bit of a crowded feel to them (there were a lot of people here) and the one big downside, always someone walking around telling people not to take pictures, despite taking pictures of NY being one of the big draws. The course itself had plenty of water (we were right by the Hudson & bay), and it had rained earlier in the week - made for some low scores that people loved to see and cheer for (including the eventual winner Scott).
