LaBellos Masonry & Basement Waterproofing - Stamp Pad

LaBellos Masonry & Basement Waterproofing

What began as a good experience has turned into a frustrating one…read more After reading several good reviews on Angie's List, we felt safe in our decision to hire LaBellos to do a few projects around our house - including demolishing, repouring, and stamping a concrete walkway. Initially our experience was positive. They were timely and seemed to focus on details. When a mistake occurred on part of the project, they were apologetic and made the repair. However, seeming to be a company that put its best foot forward, LaBellos stumbled and won't get back up. After the walkway dried, we noticed that the rise and edge of the steps do not have the same stamped look as the rest of the walkway. Instead it is coarse, ragged, and looks unfinished. We called, texted, and emailed Chad to asked him to come back and fix the issue. Unfortunately, despite his assurance he would (and recently set a date and didn't show) months have gone by with no results. After spending a decent $ on a permanent feature, it is frustrating to face the imperfections on a daily basis. We can only hope LaBellos will live up to their reviews and come back and fix our steps. If possible, we will post a follow-up review.

The job was not done correctly. They had to come back a second time, appreciated the effort, but…read moreagain they did not correct the problem. I had a Construction Engineer evaluate the problem and it was clear that LaBello's did not have the skill or sufficient knowledge to address the matter correctly. After discussing this with Chad LaBello he made excuse after excuse. He then refused to correct the matter after taking payment. He asked for cash, we paid him, he never returned to correct the problem. Low class, poor business acumen and arrogant. Should not have a license to work in the construction industry.

Walley Masonry Service - Chimney rebuild "restoration "

Walley Masonry Service

A five star rating does not even begin to encompass the immense gratitude and appreciation I have…read morefor Tyshawn and Walley Masonry Service. Let me start by saying: When I found out that I would need to replace the old, rotten hardwoods throughout half of my house, the task seemed insurmountable. Not only did I need to rip out those old floors, but there was seventy five year old mastic attached to the concrete prohibiting me from pouring the concrete I wanted onto my floors. I came to Walley Masonry for help, to see if there was anything we could do. Tyshawn, without batting an eye, said he could get it done. From a personal standpoint, Tyshawn is an upstanding individual. He respected me and my wishes for the project, and treated the project as if it was his own home he was working on. Not only that, but as all things are in construction, there were several hurdles in our way when removing the mastic, as it was extremely stubborn. Even with remedy after remedy not working, Tyshawn never gave up on making sure the job was done correctly. From a business perspective, Tyshawn is hardworking, committed, and dedicated to the project he is working on. He put in long hours, working well into the night, to get the project done. Whether it be from staying late stripping the mastic off the concrete, pouring the concrete, or making sure to take the extra time to pay fine attention to the details that otherwise may have been missed, Tyshawn made sure that the job was not only done, but that it was done right. You will see in the photos the complete night and day difference between what I started with, and what Tyshawn helped me create. I appreciate him, and would fully support and endorse hiring him for whatever masonry needs you may have!

Despite the unpredictable weather -- from heavy rains to very cold temperatures -- TyShawn remained professional, reliable, and committed to finishing the job with quality. His workmanship, attention to detail, and dedication truly stood out. We are very satisfied with the outcome and appreciate his hard work under tough conditions. Thank you, TyShawn, for a job well done!

If I could give no stars I would. First, the guy who came to our house to look at our small…read morebasement window we need to have replaced was so unprofessional. We do not wear shoes in the house and we both left our shoes on the rug by the garage door when going down to show him window. Not only did this man wear his shoes all over my house and leave my basement light and doors on and open. He had footprints from one end of the house to the other, where he asked to sit at our dinning room table. Then proceeded to ask for our WiFi and give us an astronomical price of $10,000 for all the windows. Best part the windows install wouldn't be till January/Feb, when we need them done sooner, especially just one. Then he pushed getting a deposit and I told my husband no, I don't like this guy and do not think that's accurate. We then tell him we'll think about it and the guy sat in our driveway for a good 30 minutes after we had to get back to work blocking the garage area. So not only did this man ruin my floors and was extremely unprofessional, this company is a scam. You're better off going with a local contractor. We called someone else the next day and were quoted a total of $3700 for all windows and install next week. I have no idea why there's so many positive reviews for this company. I can't believe the unprofessionalism and obscene overpricing.
