I stopped here and ordered a latte with an extra shot of espresso. The ladies working were incredibly kind and the shop itself is super clean and nice. I consider myself a coffee aficionado and I must say this latte is a 10/10... if you are passing through it's super convenient stop and well worth it. I was happily surprised at how good the coffee is. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!

If you're one of those folks who often does the long haul between Reno-Tahoe and Las Vegas and have been left desperately wanting for a quality coffee somewhere along the way...your prayers have been answered! And not just quality coffee, but an assortment of healthy cafe eats and baked treats. You won't find that anywhere else along the way, not in Hawthorne and not even in Tonopah, whose only coffee shop exists in a gas station. See my review of *that* place. But, Next Evolution is about much more than location and filling what is otherwise a dearth of sustenance along what could be America's 2nd loneliest highway... It's about quality service. I was invited in, warmly received, and even offered a treat for my dog who waited patient in the car. Take that, Starbucks puppuccino! It's about fresh. I'll let the menu speak for itself, but I ordered a chai latte (perfect) and an açai bowl that I was told included coconut shavings, which I dislike. No problem! My bowl was made to order in short time, and I was back on the road with healthy deliciousness. It's about local. Next Evolution isn't a lackluster chain like that spot in Tonopah. It's locally created and owned, and it features locally roasted beans for their coffee. Pride of ownership comes through in their hospitality and product quality. I don't dole out many 5-star reviews, but the above mentioned perks coupled with Next Evolution's location, and the feel-good that comes from contributing to a local economy instead of some anonymous corporate CEO...win win win. Stop in today to grab a bite and a sip, kick up your road-weary feet outside for a respite, and be rejuvenated.

It's on the way from Carson City/Reno to Las Vegas via Tonopah and I honestly can't wait to stop there on the way back home!

Stephanie and Mark (owners) welcomed us like family, engaged us in conversation and went over and above during our visit there. We missed breakfast by 10 min and they were more than happy to fix it for us. Let me tell you, I've had chicken fried steak many places and this was superior over everyone. It's not your typical frozen, breaded, deep fried nastiness. The meat is pounded in house, breaded and cooked home style! Did I mention it's plate size!!!! Per Stephanie, they have nothing frozen except the fries and I believe it. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast and was silent pretty much the whole time which told me he was happy with his meal vs picking it apart. The sausage they serve is fantastic, the gravy definitely homemade, biscuits were fantastic. We both loved the food, hospitality and ambience. I truly felt like I was in their home experiencing a great meal and conversation. We can't wait to try the burgers. Go hungry because you're going to be fed.

I had my heart on their famous chicken fried steak but they ran out before I arrived. I settled on their pork & beef burger, I know I rarely do burgers but I don't do breakfast menu items. Now that's the way to do burgers, a piece of ham and bacon, anything without bacon is simply pedestrian. Bacon will elevate anything to another level. It came with lettuce tomatoes, onions and pickles and a barbecue sauce. The burger comes on a brioche bread which makes for a messy meal but oh so good. I had them cook the fries extra well done and that alone is probably some of the best fries I've had in a long time! The seating area is spartan but well lit and comfortable, they just recently opened up an additional room which makes the place suitable for a larger capacity. I can't wait to come back for their famous chicken fried steak,

All our food was awesome, the service was excellent. Novel concept here, pay attention ... no one greeted us with the overused phrase " WELCOME IN." Hey folks STOP IT, stop saying "WECOME IN"! Anyway the tables were kept clean, the ice tea, water, lemonade never went dry. Refills were plentiful. The condiments on the tables were clean. The bathrooms were clean. This straight forward home style cooking serves breakfast and lunch five days a week until 3 pm. Breakfast portions are substantial. Fluffy airy pancakes that require no syrup. Biscuits and brown sausage gravy bigger than a lumberjack's fist. And if you require a little adult beverage- there's several options for mimosas. Including a flight if you can't decide. And house made Bloody Mary mix that creates a drink that looks like a meal, but I was assured it was just an appetizer. If you slept in or weren't quite feeling like breakfast, there's a great variety of hearty sandwiches. My go to is the BLTA on your choice of bread. Fries are good, but I highly recommend the tater tots- they are tossed in crack, so you just can't stop. And don't ask me to share. The French dip was piled high with thinly sliced roast beef on a fresh hoagie bun. There's a great small patio out front, large dining room to the right or the quaint cafe like area you walk into. Also congrats to the CC crew. 2026 Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival winning Philly cheesesteaks. Yes it was delicious.
