South Tyler Dermatology has two new patients!

Do not use this office. Edited at the bottom with important info…read more My husband and I both went here for a couple years. This week (in December) he went for a regular visit. We have good PPO insurance and our deductible is met obviously considering its the end of the year. They made him pay $171 for the visit. He tried to tell them it couldn't be right but they wouldn't listen. He left and called blue cross who called them and they said he should have been charged 26$ so blue cross called epiphany and told them that. They said they refunded it. Well refund never came and they never gave an amount. I called today and waited on hold for billing for 20 minutes once I got billing here is what I was told. A lot of the time they can't pull it up to find out what insurance says is owed or if deductible is met. Front desk and billing are not allowed to process refunds so all the girl could do is send a note to billing and they did nothing with it because according to the billing person "they can't process them either." She had to ask a manager or something to be able to refund the large amount owed back. I have health issues and go to docs constantly and ive never seen anything like this. Most offices run your insurance before you even get there. Epiphany waited till check out and apparently "aren't able to pull it up a lot of the time." And then no one can refund it and they also ignore the fact a refund is owed because they can't process it. Not going to deal with this again. I spent 35 minutes on the phone and this was my 4th time trying to get someone that could help. Edited to add that they harass you after you write an honest review. When the billing girl said all of this I asked for clarification repeatedly and told her if this is really how they operate I would share a review and she said it was. Theres two locations and initially I put the review on the wrong one. They called, I immediately fixed it. Following that they called my husband 6 times asking him to have me take it down. How about you work on fixing the issues in your business instead of harassing someone that shared their honest experience.

Rave: Vision Source!…read more After a very bad experience at another practice many years ago, I went to Vision Source because my cheap readers just were not cutting it any more! Every single staff person there went above and beyond to make it a great experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and listened. My first appointment was the the very end of the work day, on a holiday (Valentine's Day) and no one was rushing me to out the door. In fact, they assured me they'd stay as long as I needed them to stay. I went back today to pick up my glasses and was treated warmly and welcoming, like Id been a client for 10 years instead of 2 weeks. They gave me "lessons" in how to adjust to my progressive lenses. Highly, highly recommend.

If you are looking for a reasonable but wonderful place to have your hearing cared for, this is the…read moreplace to go and Jerry is the man to see. My mother lives with my husband and I and has been going through some serious hearing loss in recent months. She first tried some hearing aids from Costco, they were OK but literally seemed that all they did was turn volume up, making the ambient sounds louder. After going through some initial tests with Jerry, we learned so much more about hearing loss than we ever thought. It's not a matter of just volume, it's a matter of tone, notes, direction of sound and quality of sound. And so much more. Jerry set my mom up with the perfect set of hearing aids, and it has changed her life. Did I mention Jerry is a great guy? He's very patient, extremely knowledgeable and he is a hoot. Great sense of humor. I hope you give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Hospitality Health ER is by far the BEST ER I've ever been to. I have worked in healthcare for over…read more17 years and with over 9 years working in ER I can truly say the care here is UNMATCHED! They really are doing it right. They have studied the ER experience from the patients perspective and have managed to create an environment and overall experience that tailors to the patients needs and promotes wellness physically, mentally and emotionally. Every detail is so intentional from the waiting room that looks like a hotel resort guest check-in lobby to the food and drinks they provide if you're hungry. There were Patient Advocates that made rounds about every half hour to see if we needed anything. They passed around dinner plates, dessert, wellness juice shots and even provided me with a Hospitality Health ER blanket to take home. Not to mention upon discharge they provided me with a parting gift! The staff were prompt to take us right away into a room and immediately began to start my workup. There was no wait, which is unheard of for an ER visit. All the staff were so warm, compassionate and accomidating. WOW they really knocked it out of the park and I'm beyond impressed. Having just moved from CA I am seeing that "southern hospitality" really is a thing and the care you recieve here is true to it's name! This is definitely the only ER I would ever visit from now on.
