Take my business somewhere else, then the day Steve owner of sunrise marine was going to put my boat back in the water so another mechanic can work on it he asked me to be the one to follow him to the boat ramp where he ran my boat for almost 10 minutes with water going to the engine then told me he had to take the boat back to the shop and on the way there I noticed the trailer crank wasn't connected ! Cone to fine out it didn't work and he was using my rope to secure the boat to the trailer. So unprofessional for someone that charged me $1950 in Labor charges just to remove an engine and do a compression check on the other engine. They upsold me to get diagnostics run on the engine and told me the lower unit needed servicing. It took them !!FOUR!! weeks just to get the parts and they lied every time I called in saying it would only be a few more days. The estimate was already high and then when I came to pick up my boat they bumped up the cost another $800. Then... when I put the boat in the water, the throttle was difficult to move, just like it was before they supposedly "fixed" the issue. I asked them to fix the issue like I had paid for and they wanted to charge me for the fix! I told them 'no!' and took it another service person. The second service person ran a diagnostic test and told me that Sunrise hadn't run any diagnostics on the boat - and found issues with my spark plugs that should have been identified by Sunrise if they had actually done the diagnostics. I was there when he replaced the spark plugs and saw how bad they were. Sunrise never performed the work they said they did on the boat and then tried to get me to pay them more. This place is completely unethical - they are crooks. Find anywhere else to go unless want to get robbed and lied to by these crooks.

They have removed many of the old liveaboards.. this alone made the environment less hostile. I have to say.. Its cleaner and the son has added many nice amenity features like a BBQ picnic area with benches umbrellas and comfortable seating. New manager seems like he is trying to keep the place in order. 30 Hp outboard was idling rough and stalling. Zack said it was ignition engine coils and he…read morereplaced. Tested motor at slip and still idled rough. Pulled fuel injectors and cleaned. Injectors did need cleaning. Tested motor at slip and still idled rough. Determined it was an idle air valve issue, ordered part and took 3 months to receive part. Replaced IAV, tested motor in slip and said motor was running excellent. He sent me the bill. I took the boat out on the ocean for a test, which he didn't do in his test. The motor idled very rough and stalled, back to the original problem. Zack said he's not sure because it ran well at the slip. I ran the motor in the slip a few times and it did not stall, but still had a rough idle. I asked Zack if it could be spark plugs? He said maybe but he was trying to minimize the lost $ he had trying to figure out my boat. I paid him $1,400 for his service and another $600 for some electrical work. Decided to give my boat another ocean test. Unfortunately, the boat did the same thing, and I barely made it back to the dock. Took my boat to another mechanic, he ran some test and determined it was bad spark plugs. Motor runs fine now. Bottom line is Bryson Marine did not fix the problem. Don't make the same mistake I made. Pull your boat and have a more experienced mechanic who will figure out what's wrong and fix it.

Trying to save a spot before the mad rush with people. Summers afternoon all day on the beach frolicking around enjoy the water. When you're young, you don't care what the water was like. The hours of bike rides along the path from the pier to the marina, shoreline village and back to Belmont shores. This place is one of those that just makes you smile reminding you of your childhood. I still come down whenever I'm in town to have a walk along the waterfront. Checking out the boats all lines up in the docks. The view of the Queen Mary docked permanently along the water. People watching and of course the sunsets. It's a place for all that and then some. It's a local hotspot for bike rides, exercise, and dates. Also a hotspot for the tourist enjoying Long Beach. A nostalgic experience each and every time. A nice place for just doing nothing.

We were very disappointed there isn't a service boat that cleans it up for boat residents and tourists, an embarrassment for the city of Long Beach, I'd say.
