DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS AWFUL PLACE!!! I had a crack in my front windshield after a storm and through my insurance company I contacted Glass America to repair the window. After several reschedule appointments due to the winter weather--- Glass America came to replace the shield on a Saturday morning. After removing the old shield glass and replacing with a new shield-THE TECH CRACKED MY NEW shield that was placed on my car. He assured me that the small crack could be repaired and that he would return the following weekend to repair it. After letting the car sit for an hour--per the technician's suggestion I proceed to drive my vehicle. The crack started to expand--at which point the vehicle had to be parked indefinitely. The technician assured me that this "never happens" and that he would return the following Saturday to replace the glass. FOUR WEEKS LATER...after several attempts on my end to have the crack repaired Glass America scheduled an appointment on 3/2 to repair the wind shield. I scheduled my appointment for 12:30p when I would be home. When I arrived to my residence I was surprised to see that the window had been worked on--WITHOUT ME BEING PRESENCE as I had requested. Not only had Glass America ILLEGALLY entered my vehicle--they damaged the seal around my wind shield and left a copious mount of snow inside my UNLOCKED vehicle which is parked on the street. They have now scheduled YET ANOTHER appointment to come fix the seal--to which they also claimed this type of damage "never happens". IT HAS NOW BEEN 6 WEEKS and my vehicle is still not repaired. This is the absolute worst glass repair business in the area. They refuse to acknowledge the inconvenience they have caused & every time I call to speak to the manager they are conveniently not available. read more

Had my car window replaced here. They did not set it correctly so the auto-up/down function of the power window now has a mind of its own; goes up and then back down halfway and stops. They neglected to tell me this when I picked up and payed for the repair, and when I asked them what the problem was after discovering it, he simply replied, "yeah, I don't know how to fix that, maybe you should bring it to the dealer". Really?!? This is your only job, installing auto glass CORRECTLY, and you don't know how to do it???? read more

STAY AWAY FROM NEWBURGH AUTO GLASS in Newburgh. I had used Newburgh Auto Glass II in Walden a few years ago and had a good experience. I decided to give them my repeat business and had a windshield replaced on my vehicle on a Friday. I dropped it off first thing in the morning, it was ready to be picked up by 3 - great. On Tuesday (4 days later) we had inclement weather and I went out to my vehicle to find water POURING in through my windshield seal and running into and dripping on the dashboard. I immediately went back to Newburgh Auto Glass and the gentleman was very apologetic (said he had been doing this "15 years and this never happens..") and told me to drop it off for a day whenever I could so he could fix it. This morning I brought my vehicle to be repaired. The woman in the office was extremely rude and unprofessional. Suddenly this went from being a one day repair to two days - not ok. I will not be returning to Newburgh Auto Glass, and I still have a vehicle with a bad water leak. STAY AWAY. Spare yourself the headache and pay a few extra dollars to have your job done correctly the first time!! read more

I cannot say enough about this repair shop. Our Mini Cooper that we just got had a rock kick up and put a nice hole in the front window. We called and were able to bring it in within two days. We were there early and they promised to have it done by noon. We got a call at 10:45 it was done. The shop is clean, the men our clean and our car was clean. The Windshield repaired and we were on our way. State Farm called them for us and everything was quick and easy. The guys are informative and very friendly as is Doreen in the office.
