Attention car owners!…read more Glass America is a dreadful business. Their customer service and response time to replace/repair broken windshields is abysmal! Save your money and time and try to avoid your insurance provider from using Glass America or you will regret it!

The customer service rep and the installer could not have been nicer and more responsive. The problem was that glass fell into the rear door assembly during the removal and installation leaving glass rattling around every time I opened the hatch. I had them come back, which they did quickly and they vacuumed out more glass. I was told the remailing glass would come out of the two holes in the bottom of the door. Not acceptable. I did not want glass falling into the rear of my car, on the driveway, whatever. I called my insurance agent who had the glass company rep reach out. He did once, and never followed up. Glass America kept telling me it was normal for glass to remain in the door. Not acceptable. They also said I could have a detailer take the lock mechanism off and clean the rest of the glass out. Seriously? I had an oil change scheduled at Subaru and I asked them about it. They were astounded they left my car in that condition. I wound up paying Subaru to take the door apart and cleaning out the glass. An hour of labor to clean up another company's mess.
