Ken the manager and his worker were very knowledgeable and nice! They were never pushy. I'll be back for my next oil change!

I'm just a simple father running errands with my toddler and stopped for a jiffy to get my fluids…read morelooked at. My washer fluid was completely out, which can be dangerous with fall season here and I wanted to have anything else be looked at for peace of mind. I was immediately accompanied by Zak and Jaret who topped off my fluids and were kind and helpful. Little did I know that this Jiffy Lube In Newberg was not going to be open for another 15 minutes and both gentlemen put business aside and community as priority. it has been a while since I have had stellar service like this happen. These gentleman and the supervisor on staff deserve recognition and a fat pay raise because I'll be sure to recommend your Newberg Oregon location for any friend, colleague, or family member!

I had point S repair in newberg take a look and they confirmed the overfill. They had to review my engine and redo the oil refill. The process to get my refund was a mess. They do not advertise the process. I had to go through corporate and they referred me to a guy that apparently handles the customer complaints for this store. He was extremely slow to respond. I had to re contact corporate telling them he was not responding and then he would magically respond when I did that. All told it took me like 6 reminder emails, receptive emails, and 7 weeks to recover my refund. I also thought it was bizzare that he asked me for my bank routing and wire # which is typically something you do not want to just give out. It was extremely frustrating and I felt several times that they were trying to shut me out. I feel that if I didn't constantly prod they weren't going to do anything. Seriously I waited over 10 days at one point and not a single response. So very poor service, slow to respond to a potentially catastrophic mistake, just don't go, frankly it's too expensive and not worth the risk. Go to point S in newberg soo much better. EDIT: Campbell was the guy I had issues, lol.

Advanced Automotive of Oregon - They did a perfect alignment job on my 2ZZ-GE MR2 Spyder. Cleanest shop I have seen.

Overdue review from this past January. Our son had recently moved into the area and didn't know…read moreany good repair shops. We flew in to Portland from Hawaii to help him move. We chose this shop due to Yelp's 5 star reviews and were not disapppointed. Our son's car needed the basic oil/filter change, rotate tires, brake checks, and the transmission fluid replaced. We also had a busy schedule and we're not able to pick up the car before they closed. They suggested we pay the bill over the phone and we arranged to have the car parked and locked in their parking lot (since we had a set of extra keys); which was perfect. At least our son now has a shop he can depend on for future maintenance; which will be soon. :)

After looking at a couple different shops based on reviews, we went with Advanced Automotive to do…read morea pre-purchase inspection of a vehicle we were interested in buying (2017 Suburban Premier). After a few hours they called and went over the couple issues they had found and should be replaced which they were very nice and helpful. They found that one control arm had some play in it and should be replaced, the brake vacuum was bad, and one of the window switches auto up didn't work. After taking this to the dealer they fixed the issue and all was well. After driving 100 miles back home we noticed the car didn't handle any bumps or turns very well. We took it to a local mechanic where they found the following wrong with it- Self leveling shock system (air bags and shocks) torn and blown out- $1500 Compressor for shocks burnt out and hasn't been operational for a long time- $1000 Upper passenger control arm causing stability issues and creaking (needs replaced and alignment)- $950 We paid $199 to have them check the important components of a car before buying. Now we are stuck with a bill totaling over $3000 on a vehicle with less than 150 miles from us driving it. Do not take your car here for pre-purchase inspections. These are all common failure points for this vehicle with this many miles as confirmed with multiple other trusted local mechanics in our area. The least they could do is refund this inspection fee to help cover the cost of repairs of a car we wouldn't have bought in the first place if due diligence was done as we trusted it would be.
