When we were here in August 2025, it appeared they are expanding as they had temporary walls up. They introduced new chairs as well which appear that they will have power outlets at some point, but currently, charging options are very limited. They have a few vending machines and small restrooms. Will continue to use them as it is convenient and easy.

This "Welcome Center" is quite spacious, with quite a variety of vendors for all your needs. Some of my favorite? A Dunkins, a Panda Express, and even a Wendy's! The restrooms here are not "Bucees" clean (but c'mon who can compete??), but compared to other pit-stops, this place is second-tier. A great place to stretch, walk-around, and recharge for the remainder of your trip. This round --- I only stayed for about 15-20 minutes, and decided to try the new "Applegreen Tap&Go" Coffee Stations. One is located at the very entrance of the building, and one towards the back (near the food court). I ordered an "Iced White Mocha", and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It did what I want coffee to do, taste good and have caffeine! In any case, if you're in Delaware, make it a point to stop-by!

The bus was supposed to show up at 5 and leave at 5:20. We called, the bus wouldn't be there until 6. My wedding STARTED at 6 pm and the hotel was at least 20 minutes away. Timing was crucial because my wedding was outside and the sun was setting. Thank god, for the amazing hotel staff (Sheraton four points) who took their personal cars and shuttle to get my guest there a few minutes late. If it wasn't for them, my wedding guest would have not been able to witness my marriage! Yes, you showed up at night to bring guest back to the hotel. I would not use this bus company. Being from out of town she kept in touch up to the day we had our tour, even giving me suggestions on the local area. We had some minor issues with bad weather and possibly having to cancel but it all worked out and Suzanne was a pleasure to work with through it all. When it came to the day of our actual tour, we had to cut it short (from 2 hours to 1.5 instead) due to high tide but that was more than enough time to see everything. The weather was still a bit muggy and foggy so it was hard to see sometimes but we were still comfortable and kept dry on the boat. Our tour guide, whom I sadly forgot his name, was funny and entertaining. He made giving history lessons fun and joked with us almost the entire time. My team all in all had a blast not just seeing the sites but hearing is comedy and commentary. The tour itself was pretty neat, seeing and learning the history of the Christiana River with old and modern mixed together. It was a pretty cool sight to see bridges turning and opening just so we could pass along the river. If you're looking for something different to do along the riverfront, I highly recommend taking the River Taxi.
