This is my favorite store for pure water. My mother alerted me about their water while I was living in Manteca Ca. The water just taste 100% clean and sweet, irresistible. I travel from Manteca with my family to Newark Pure Water once a week now as a avid customer. I recommend everyone to check this place out. And the lady working there is sweet, kind, professional and always willing to give us the best deal possible. Highly recommended.... Bobby Rasuli read more

Like most pure water places, it's a small shop for water refills. We appreciate the fact that there is a station to clean the bottles and a station for water refills outside of the location so that we can get water when they are closed. We do the pre-pay option since we refill there every two weeks and we've had a great experience with it so far. They do not usually open on time. If you are hoping to get in as soon as they open, there is usually a line of people also waiting for them to open. read more

Long story short- great, amazing, pure tasting water. I've tried a ton of different water spots and this one is the best!!!! I would drive out here from San Jose just to get water lol, and it's only 40 cents a gallon! Such a great price! read more

Warning! Don't go here. Just went today for the first time. The skinny long-haired kid at the counter gets upset if you clean your bottles for more than 3 seconds. Also, the customers behind me came in at 6:56pm with 4 empties in hand, and he blocked the entrance and said the store was closed. He turned several customers who made it before 7pm. 11 Jugs in all! The store hours are posted "closed at 7pm." This kid doesn't know how to treat customers or run a business. If he's not the owner or relative, he should be fired! Go to Pure Water and Ice off of Jarvis Ave in Newark instead. A one star rating is too good for this kid!!!! read more

Been coming here since 2016. Before the current owners. I'm definitely going to have to find a new place now. I can't stand showing up at 6:45 and it's closed. When clearly the signs say 7pm. This is pathetic. They just lost a customer. read more

Looking for an alkaline water nearby Richmond, but found one located on 36601 Newark Blvd in Newark, CA. Since it's our first time there, Ann helped us with the different size bottles and pricing. Ann was super friendly, helpful and caring. Although the place to get alkaline water was over an hour drive from my apartment, it was worth the drive! Alkaline water has a higher pH level than does plain tap water. Some say that it can neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your metabolism and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively. Alkaline water can help prevent disease and slow the aging process. These benefits are the reasons for trying alkaline water. I would definitely come back because of the great customer service received from Ann, and the affordable price of alkaline water per gallon! read more

Came across Newark Pure Water with the proprietor sitting outside(i assume). had a short friendly chart. need 4 clean outside dispensing machines rates: 30 cents outside. .-20 cents/gal. inside w/contract. drips: -alkaline water also available, whatever that is. -lots of parking here, a few doors from grocery outlet. read more

Was Great service but there is a new owner now and she seems nice but lacks a backup worker if she needs to run a errand. Love the products and water quality. But I'll wait and see how the new owner is compared to the previous owner. read more

Moving to the Newark area we were looking for a new water joint for my water Cooke. Found this spot on yelp, thanks fellow helpers, and read the reviews about alkaline water. Hubby figured we could try it out since we drink a lot of purified water was told by friendly proprietor they had the 9.5 option or 9.0 level options. As it was our first time she suggested to go with the 9.0 option. She helped load the water jugs and roll them out... Great service... Clean location hidden in the plaza with grocery outlet and other small business.... I will be back. Hopefully the alkaline water tastes as good as the hubby promises... read more

We have been going here since the new ownership and the service has gotten better. This 5 star review is because Asiya goes above and beyond customer service! She remembers who we are and takes the time to ask how we are doing. As a customer it is important to know that we are appreciated! Thank you Asiya for helping us! We appreciate you! read more

This is the only spot in the Bay Area I get my water! I've been drinking alkali water for years for its amazing health benefits and this is the only spot north of San Jose that has the kind I prefer. This place was better when the old owners ran it. Sign outside says "No mask, no entry" which is the rule for any stores you go to. The day we were there - the staff was not wearing his mask. I asked him to wear one but he said that he has a breathing problem. I guess it's okay if the door was open for circulation- but that day AC was on. He should at least wear it, when customers are inside. I think I'll just find a different store that follows Covid guidelines. read more

Clean, low prices, humble owners, friendly staff. Can't ask for more.

So far it's the Best water in the Tri-City. Taste great and consistent. We've been to many and so far this is our go to. The owners are very friendly and there to assist if needed. read more

Warning. Don't buy a discounted card. I bought one and they threw it away. The cashier said she couldn't find it. I was going to buy another one out of ignorance, but the cashier advised me not to buy another card. I was told if I don't use the card frequently enough, they would throw my card away again and I would lose all my savings. read more

The best water store in the Bay Area!!! I've been coming here for years now and it's honestly way better than any kiosk or water shop I've ever been too nothing compares to its pure and clean alkaline taste. True too it's name!! The best water in the bay. I will not drink anything else. I have been drinking alkaline water for 4 years now and it has made my skin glow and my mind clear. Less mucous in my body. I drive once a week from San Jose. It's worth it. read more

We had recently purchased a water cooler and was interested in trying alkaline water but didn't want to pay the price for a machine. After doing a quick search on Yelp, I found this place. It is literally minutes away from our home. Score! As you walk in, you will find many empty bottles for sale and of course, water. The first time my husband walked in, he was clueless on what to do. As soon as an employee spotted him, he immediately explained to my husband what each water faucet is for. Since then, we were a frequent customer whenever we needed refills. read more

Awesome little spot to get my weekly fill up of Purified water& Alkaline water and the pure ice is great for drinks!.....ps. There always seems to be something interesting on tv to watch while waiting is my favorite part lol read more

So not much to say beside the fact this place has a Kangen water. That mean it's the best water you could drink/consume. Not much else to say, oh and the customer service and overall experience? DANG GOOD! I'm back here 2-3 times a week. True story. read more

This place is great! Can't beat the price for great alkaline water. A buck a gallon is way better than 2 bucks a liter from the store. Even driving from Livermore to get this water is still better than buying from the store down the street from us. I find that this water is the best for helping me with my health problems, also not to mention the fact that most water bought in the store taste like crap. Ever wonder why you hate drinking water? Just give this water a try and see how much better you feel in a week. read more

I used to LIVE for alkaline water, when I was introduced to it in L.A. Moving to NorCal, it has been a struggle finding an alkaline water spot. This place IS IT! I wish I had found it sooner. The young guy that works there (sorry I don't know his name), it always super pleasant and ensures you are in and out. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially what I would pay in L.A. Anyway, you can bring your own containers or purchase reusable containers there! What are you waiting on?? check this place out..if you haven't had alkaline water, you are TRULY missing out on the goodness for your body! read more

Started drinking Alkaline (9.5 pH) two years ago. Found a spot in San Jose all the guy wanted to do was sell me a machine I had no interest in buying at $3500. A co-worker started talking about Newark Pure Water and their alkaline offerings. I went , met Ann the owner, and I've been returning. No talk of buying a machine. You want alkaline/ filtered / water accessories this is the place to spend your money. The service is 4 star. read more

Super friendly staff that showed my amateur-self how it all works. Clean store, organized, comfortable. You can buy bottles of all sizes, buy water stands, spigots, lids/tops, etc too. They have great tasting water and alkaline water. They also have outdoor spots to fill up. I just signed up for their membership card so now we don't have to pay every individual time and we get a discount. I'm super happy with this place, no complaints. read more

Love to get Alkaline water here. Good service and the staffs are knowledgeable about the product and friendly.

We have been coming here for couple months to get kangen / alkaline water. The staff always so nice, friendly, and so helpful. The place also clean. I'm so glad they are near my place. If you don't have filter system in the house, I recommend to get their water for drinking. read more

This is a hidden water gem in Newark. When you walk in you'll be greeted by Ann. She's always there, & this woman knows her stuff! Very knowledgable in alkaline water & its benefits. You can tell they strive to provide WONDERFUL customer service. The overall appearance is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Everything is well organized. They have a station to power wash your gallon jar. They also provide pushing carts so it's easier to transfer your water-filled gallons to your car, there are also towels for easy clean up. They charge .30 a gallon for purified water. When you buy one of their jugs you get the water for free. They also have Kangen Water. This provides you with Alkaline water, which has the best benefits for your overall health, and it tastes AMAZING! It's $1.50 a gallon, well worth it. If you haven't tried it, I recommend it. Buy one of their Alkaline 9.5 water bottles to try it. Smooth & crisp! I recommend to check this place out. Wonderful customer service, always clean, and the plus is they always remember their customers. read more

This place is NOT clean. don't go here unless you want to get sick. Almost done filling up my 3 gallon bottles, I noticed some black molds inside two of my bottles. I informed the guy there right away. At first he didn't believe me until we both checked and saw the black molds are coming from their faucets. The guy asked me to keep quite and he'll refund me the money. Got home didn't feel right; so I have to write this to let others know too. Again, don't go here unless you really want to get sick. read more

My place for the water. I usually go after hours and fill the gallons from outside. Always been quick. Can you guys update your machine so it can take $20 bill. That would definitely be much helpful. read more

This place has gone down hill since the change in management. They don't have hand sanitizer out for people touching the machines. We like the alkaline water and the sensor was going off because the filters have not been changed(now we know why the water tastes different) The woman was extremely rude when my husband asked for hand sanitizer. This place is unsanitary, people touching knobs and nozzles. During times like this they need stronger disinfecting routines. The state or city should go in there for a health and safety check! read more
