They stock good, solid, pieces in a variety of styles, which are all tasteful. The staff is friendly and personable. Gideon's also keeps all of their various internet platforms up to date with what they have in stock, which is something I really appreciate. But the store is lovely, so go visit! As far as layout- upholstered items such as couches and big chairs are in the front space where they are better protected from the elements. The door to the back is where their tables, dressers, buffets, and other hard furniture are. The note I made is that they have sets but they are typically broken up into the type of furniture. For example you like a dresser and wish there was a matching nightstand for it then you will likely find it in the nightstands. Overall a very solid place to seek furniture.

There are a few prime meter-free spots, but bring some change with you in case you need to park on the street. The staff has tape measures handy, but if you're looking to fill a space at home remember to give it a quick measure to ease your shopping.
