Food is always good and prepared quickly. I always choose New Yummy China Wok when I am in the mood for Chinese food for dinner.

After having eaten here, I struggled to align the name of the restaurant with the food. I ordered a lunch special of steamed chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce on the side and hot and sour soup. First, the chicken wasn't cut to bite sizes, so it was very hard to eat with chopsticks without using my fingers or getting pretty ugly. The garlic sauce was very, very thick, even having come right out from behind the counter. It was as thick as garlic sauce that has been sitting in a refrigerator for a few days. It was also very, very sweet. I have a feeling the customer base in the area likes very sweet sauce. I'm not a fan. When I bit into the broccoli, even after five minutes of cooling, it was too hot and it burned the roof of my mouth. It's like they cook for heat to accommodate delivery time, even if you plan to eat inside the restaurant. The hot and sour soup was very sweet, very thick, and not spicy at all. The mushroom helping is generous, but they are too big and take up more than the size of the standard spoon. I had to balance the mushrooms on the spoon to eat them. Although I tipped, service was not friendly, I felt rushed and pressured and there was no smile or friendly exchange. Maybe it was a bad day. All in all, I won't be going back. read more

My Doordash delivery was excellent. The food was piping hot and even arrived early. The portions are big and the prices are very good. I ordered two lunch combos because I was worried that one wouldn't be enough but it ended up being way too much food and I was able to save half for another meal. The hot and sour soup had too much egg in it and the szechuan beef could have been much spicier, but I was expecting an Americanized version of Chinese food and that's what I got. Strong delivery good in Ossining. Person answering the phone was nice and could understand me. They were super fast. Maybe under so minutes. The food is strong as well. The fried rice was light and fluffy. Not just yellow rice with stuff in it. We had beef and broccoli and boneless spare ribs. Both were above average. The ribs had a little too much suave for me, but still good. The dumplings were just ok. They are more like pot stickers and i prefer the the thicker dumpling wrapper. There aren't many good Chinese take out options in the area. This one is pretty solid. Wonton soup is great as well as the General Tso's Chicken. Only thing is delivery is VERY slow. The last two times I've ordered from here they tell me it will be 30 mins, but it doesn't show up for another hour and a half :( read more

New Yummy China Wok is a Chinese take-out/delivery place serving the usual Americanized Chinese food. Walking distance from my boyfriend's house, we stop by here on a somewhat regular basis. We usually eat-in. The food is always good and fresh. The portions are large. You can easily share an entree with another adult, or eat it alone and have more than enough for lunch the next day, or possibly dinner. My boyfriend is especially fond of the Egg Foo Yong, and one of my favorites is the Seafood Delight. It's probably one of the more pricey things on their menu, at $13, but the portion is large, and they are not stingy with the seafood in it (containing scallops, crawfish tails, jumbo shrimp and surimi). Prices are reasonable, entrees are around the $8-13 mark. Entrees come with rice and usually a can of soda too. The staff is always courteous, and they're quick. There are a number of tables, so you can eat on the premises, but for the most part it's a take-out and delivery business. read more

This was my first time trying tis place and I must admit that I was pretty impressed with the food and the freshness of the food. I was having a difficult time finding a good Chineses take out in the area. I think I finally found a good one. My family and I enjoyed the steamed dumplings. We actually liked the thinness of the pasta. The chicken and shrimp dishes were fresh and the sauces complimented each dish perfectly. The spring rolls and egg rolls were good too. China Wok is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Ossining. I've lived In Ossining for 25 years and Have tried most of the Chinese restaurants and China Wok is by far the best. My favorites are Beef and broccoli, House special egg foo young, Singapore Mei Chow Fun, General Tso chicken, Hunan Delicacy, fried fish with vegetable fried rice- yummy. As mentioned this is good spot for local ones that live nearby and need a Chinese fix. For real Chinese meal I wouldn't suggest. The fried rice was a bit stale and not flavor at all taste old. This is the worst place ever. Food is always wrong or cold. The owners are nasty and their employees who answer the phone dont understand what I want and have to repeat myself at least 5 times.
