Since we don't have Chilis here in Canada, we decided to check out Slider Station in Scarborough. We ordered their Triple-Double box which featured 2 cheeseburger sliders, 2 mozzarella sticks, 2 tenders, and a side sauce. The sliders and cheese sticks were worth the hype, but the chicken tenders were quite mid without the sauce. If you're in the area, this is definitely a place to check out. Just be ready to take it to-go as this place only has seating for 4 people in the entire store

I recently tried the Nima (Fried Chicken) Sandwich at $12.00. This is a boneless battered chicken sandwhich with garlic sauce, mango scotch bonnet hot sauce, on a potato roll. Surprisingly it was pretty mild, which is a great thing. You can always ask to add more heat if you need to but I thought this level was just right and maintained flavour while being easy on the stomach. This black owned business has a new home in the Annex neighbourhood, one of my favourite areas in the city. I really liked the ambience of the new location as it is located in the annex hotels and it looks great to lounge in on nights. Make sure to check it out if you are in the area. Kumasi is a city in Ghana. That is the name of their single burger ($8.00). Accra is the capital of Ghana. This is the name of their  double burger ($11.00). Chef Adrian Forte (consulting chef) appeared on Top Chef Canada and was a semi-finalist with the chicken burger "The Nima Sandwich" ($12.00). The episode was on the most recent season. He wanted to name the burger after an up-and-coming area of the city, Nima, which is a slum in Accra. The chef was used as a food consultant at the beginning stages of this restaurant. As a Yelp Elite, I was able to order the Yelp Elite Signature Combo ($9.99) which consists of 2 x Kumasi Burger ($8.00), 2 × Fries ($5.00) , and 2 x drinks of your choice ($2.25 or $3.00 for the Pink Ting Soda). Our order was worth $31.25 if ordered separately. However, they have the same combo called Signature Combo for $26.00. Thanks Yelp Toronto/GTA. The burger was very juicy and tasty. The amount of fries you get is quite a lot but is reasonable for $5.00. You place an order online if you want to pickup. You can customize your burger online by removing ingredients. One nice thing is that you can choose your pickup date and time. It seems the takeout menu changes depending on what is available! But i know know how that works if you are ordering for later pickup. Of course they also use some typical food delivery apps too. Here are a few of their notable burgers: 1. Kumasi Burger ($8.00): one 4oz beef patty, one slice of American cheese, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato. 2. Accra Burger ($11.00): same as above but with 2 patties. 3. The Nina Sandwich ($12.00): boneless battered chicken thigh, garlic sauce, mango scotch bonnet hot sauce, on a potato. They also offer a few sides: 1. Lucy's Grilled Cheese ($5.00) 2. Fries ($5.00) 3. Bacon ($1.99) 4. Kelewele ($5.00). Fried plantains. 5. Hollow Rice ($5.00). A piquant seasoned rice dish that's a madly of rice, tomatoes, and spices. In the future, they will be offering room service food to the hotel. They also sell T-shirts ($65.00) that are 100% and pre-shrunk. During warm weather, you would use the front entrance where there is patio space. When indoor dining is not allowed, you would use the back entrance for order pickup, the same entrance as for food delivery services. This entrance has a large jug of hand sanitizer just inside the door. There is free WiFi by using the hotel's WiFi. There is a pay-and-display parking near the entrance with one accessible parking spot but it is really for the hotel. However, the back entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Service (3/5) - it took almost 15 minutes to get my order which is pretty long for a food court location. it was busy that day however my order seemed to be back in the queue. Atmosphere (3.5/5) - its a food court kiosk, so it is general Well seating. Overall (3.75/5) - wanted to try Rosie's and now i have. The chicken, mild sauce and brioche bun would have tasted fantastic but it took me 1/2 hour to get home so it was cold and wasn't crispy. I had to microwave it so it tasted better. The Classic Burger also would have tasted better if I could have eaten it while it was fresh and hot in the restaurant. And unfortunately the slice of tomato I got was tiny and sad looking so I had to add a fresh slice when I got home. I shouldn't have to do that! Their toppings list was also a bit confusing with the list having some items extra cost. The counter service I got was good and I appreciated getting a side of pickles because I didn't see it on the list at when I was ordering. The vibe was bright in this small location but was too tight with the few tables there so close to the counter which was hard to get to from the door. They need a sign saying where to order too because it's not clear. Again I wish I could have eaten there when my food was hot and fresh but they weren't allowing it today. So I have mixed feelings about this BBoyz location.
