History
Established in 2005.
John Campbell started the business in 2005 as Campbell's Restoration, a Brooklyn contractor doing roofing and restoration work on brownstones and row houses across the city. Skylights kept coming up on almost every job, and most of the leaks we were called to fix were skylights that had been put in badly by someone else. So we made skylights the whole business. In 2015 the company became New York Skylight Installers LLC. Today we are a VELUX Trained and Approved installer working out of Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, with our own crews serving the five boroughs, Long Island and Westchester. We have installed thousands of skylights on flat roofs, pitched roofs, brownstones and commercial buildings, and we still fix the ones other people got wrong.
