WOW. I am hesitant to do this review, as I'd like to keep it as my own little secret place! I had a friend coming into to town for a visit, and wanted to treat her to a pedicure (I was in desperate need of pampering, as well!) I called around to several local establishments. I was dismayed at the prices...$40, $50....even had one that wanted $35 but when I asked her how many chairs she had, she told me none....."I use a bowl..." For $35? NO! I found New York Nails online. When I asked how much for a pedicure....$20!!! WHAT??? I asked, "How many chairs do you have?" 10!! WHAT??? (a wedding party could all come here at one time!! HA!) So, although I was excited to find such a "find", I have to admit that I was a bit .....um...cautious? Oh, NO NEED! My friend and I were so pampered. Excellent pedicures, including "the chair" (awesome massage!!) and extended leg and foot massage....even used hot stones at one point! OMG! Our pedicurists, "Teresa" and "Johnny" were very professional and thorough. Everything was immaculate and sterile. I promise to be a regular customer!! LOVE!!! ( but,,,SHHHH!!!! please, keep it a secret! LOL) read more

I came in for a relaxing nail and toe time. I have not gotten my nails done in a long time. So this was a huge treat to my self. I got a gel full set, that were on the longer side, and a repainting of my toes. I paid $115. My nails were not shaped correctly, there is acrylic powder still on my skin, and the thin line I asked for on my toes, eneded up being wide lines. I was brushed off when I asked for it to be fixed... I was told when it grows out it will look better, instead of just fixing it. This establishment use to be top notch. I truly do not know what has happened here. However I hope they can get thier quality back. read more

Worst pedicure ever. The lady didn't know how to cut my toe nails. I had to cut them myself. She did a half **s job. Very bad experience . I will never come here again. Don't waist your money coming here! read more

Huge mistake! Went here since my regular nail tech is on vacation. My daughter asked for a powder dip and an eyebrow wax before school started back. She was told she could only get acrylic with tips since her nails were "to short". Her eyebrows were extremely swollen and red, so I gave them 24 hours. It's been 28 hours and she has 3rd degree burns on her eyelids and above her eyebrows. Great way to start a new school year, and I paid for this. Her fingers are bloody all around from excessive filing. I will never step foot in this place again. read more

I arrived at the nail salon, and there were no other people having their nails done. The technician was very rushed, she did a terrible job on my nails. She did not shape them like I asked I had her redo them twice, half of my nail is not painted Along the edges where they should be, I have two cut cuticles and was bleeding, and she was a very pushy rushed nail technician. This is my first and last trip there. Would someone please put a nail salon in the Auburndale Winter Haven area with decent technicians that give a crap about how they do your nails. It's too expensive to have such crappy workmanship. read more

From the moment I walked in I felt rushed. I came in for a pedicure paid $50 ( which did not match the price chart) the gel polish was overlapping my skin before I made it home all of my gel polish fell completely off my toes. This has been a horrible experience I will not be returning!! read more

They are lucky for this one star! I'd rate them anything less than this. I was not pleased with the manicure and pedicure. You'll get hassled to do/get more work done, than you asked for. Also, the prices is steep. Not worth it! read more

New York Nails Salon - Waited 45 minutes then Wanted to charge me $35 just to POLISH my nails like this no full set no fill in just POLISH. Ridiculous! Never again - Nail Salons Near Me - Winter Haven, Florida

Called at 4 and spoke to the gentleman, I asked to make a nail appointment for two people at 530 he said okay and to come in. We arrived and sat around for 15 min, he had a walk in come in prior and he was not even close to finishing the nail set on her. DONT TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE APPOINTMENTS FOR THEM AND THEN OVERBOOK YOURSELF. Was looking for a new nail place since I moved to winter haven, they just lost all my future business read more

My sister and I got our eyebrows done here and they came out so pretty and clean! I absolutely Loved it! read more

This place is horrible, they ripped my skin off my eyebrow last year, I messaged them on Facebook, the owner read it. Never an apology nothing. This year my daughter talked me into going back and trying it again from my normal place but this guy made one sores on both my small toes with sanding block. Then made another toe bleed and when it he was upset because I was bleeding so much, I told him it was no big deal, I have lupus which is an autoimmune disease nothing contagious but it makes me bleed easily because of my medicine and he mouthed off, " oh no big deal oh oh oh!" Then as my feet were in the water he tried to tickle my right foot when I looked at him strangle he gave me a weird smile. As if all this we're not bad enough my daughter was right beside me, they took her to paint her toes because she wanted gel and painted hers the wrong color and when she text me that I went and told them and they acted like oh well!!! Then I got my eyebrows done and the woman was so rough that my daughter decided oh heck no she wasn't touching her!! Never ever again we either of us go back here!!!! If there was negative stars that is what they would get!! read more

Very friendly and attentive service took care of everyone even ones walking right a closing time

Don't even want to give one star so sad cause on and off I would go to this nail salon for 14 years to be exact my cousin and friends have been going to this salon for years as well I haven't been in a year or so cause I moved but I was visiting relatives as I came in the owner was finishing up on her client and then took me and periodically stopped doing my nails to make eye contact while talking to her employee each break to talk and make eye contact was about 2-3 mins long , I got matte nails not pleased at all in there work now feels as though they have gotten extremely sloppy but most of all appalled by the amount I was charged for plain matte nails that look don't look good at all have three nails put on slanted and the shape looks awful $50 I was in complete shock I paid cause what else could I do , disgusted and can't believe she would over charge any customer but especially one that has been coming for 14 years , there extremely over priced do proceed with caution and nails are not even decent looking . read more
