Had a deluxe mani- pedi. The lady who did my nails was terrible....she put the polish on way too thick and it never dried even now over an hour later. She also left my cuticles a mess. Now the positive part is Hannah who did my toes and eyebrows was amazing. Very detailed and definitely one of my best pedicures ever!!! She even cleaned up my cuticles and the polish around my nails on my hand. Place could definitely be cleaner overall but may go back to Hannah who was great! read more

So I took my daughter here for a girls day. It turned out to be a nightmare. A hole fight broke out between employees. One of them was doing my feet and she just quit in the middle and was slamming stuff everywhere. One of the other ladies getting her feet done had to tell the lady to shut up! A lifesaver for a chronic nail biter! Seriously I probably have not gotten my nails done in over a month or two, but they look in better shape after my recent visit to Lovely Nails. The staff is lovely and accommodating, which is probably why it's often packed on weekends. Prices are average for nail salons depending on what you're planning to get done that day. Location is in the Cypress Gardens Blvd. Plaza which is conveniently near Walmart, Dollar General, Olive Garden, and other fast food chains. I'd recommend you make an appointment over walk-ins, but as I mentioned, they can get busy so expect a short wait unless stated otherwise. read more

This place is cheap , which is the only good thing about it . Kim did my nails and they were too busy taking she was more worried about her conversation than she was about my nails , she cut me twice the second cut made me bleed , normal nail salons paint your nails with 2 coats , unlike KIM she went over my nails at least 6 time. Place is not well with hygiene , food on the floor , dust on almost everything . Also it is very clear that they talk about you , the wait was horrible ! read more

I saw this place across the way and took the girls there and explained our situration. They were ever so accommodating and friendly. They made the girls feel special and even did thier toes too!! Extraordinarily rude and unprofessional! This location can't handle rush or the overwhelming of customers! We arrived a little after 9:20 am and had me sit there until about 10:20 am to start! Then the nail technician who came over already seemed flustered and hurt my feet during the cut down process and I told her that it hurt and to use the correct tool to clip my toenails she got upset for another possibly 45 minutes, I just sat there! It was so upsetting that I eventually started to leave and that's when the manager came over and said she should have someone take care of my feet after several other people coming in and going out while I'm still there waiting! Awful awful awful... Don't waste your money here! I went there less than one week ago my nails were horrible. When I went back to get them corrected, they wanted to charge me again. The guy that did my nails acted like I was putting him out when his wife was the one that did an incomplete job on my nails to begin with. I wish I could give this place a zero but unfortunately that wasn't an option. There's way too many nail salons in the area to go to a filthy place like this where the people aren't even kind. I usually do not write too many reviews but I felt I had to write something great about this place. I am also hesitant to write something since this may cause me to wait in the future but this place deserves a few mention. As there are so many nail salons all over the city, I just so happened to stumble into this gem. Upon first entering this salon, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. Although their English is not perfect, it was still very easy to understand. Who am I to judge since I can only speak one language. Kudos to them. The place is extremely clean and modern. The prices were fair and comparable to other salons I have visited. I decided to get the deluxe manicure and spa pedicure. Let me tell you it was a treat. I felt like I was in a spa in a big city like New York. The deluxe treatment besides including the usual mani/pedi also included a parafin wax treatment which leaves your skin so soft and moisturized. The great part was it only costed an extra $5 and worth every penny. My manicure and pedicure was impeccable. I did not feel rush or pressured to get other treatments even though they offered other add on treatments that I wanted to try. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to get a quality mani/pedi at a clean and affordable salon. I even made my husband get a pedicure. Oh yeah, I saw so many ladies come in for waxing and eyebrow tweezing that I think I will try it next time. They all seemed satisfied afterwards. Hope this helps. read more

Giving Lovely nails 1 star because it won't let me give it 0 stars. I went in with a friend to get eyelash extensions which Kim told me over the phone and while she was doing my eyelashes that it would be $25, she charged each of us $30. The room she took us into looked like an ironing board with a sheet over it and a pillow for our heads, the wall by our feet was covered in dirt. The whole time she was doing my lashes she asked was asking me how other nail salons do lashes for example "does she have you keep your eyes opened or closed?" "What kind of glue does she use?" "Does she put tape under your eye?" She even had me hold my own eye down. She glued lashes to my eye and when I told her how heavy they were she put mascara on, you're not supposed to put mascara on extensions. She did the same with my friend, how many people does she use that mascara on?? They were supposed to last 2-3 weeks it hasn't even been 1 week and they've fallen off along with my real eyelashes! WHEN we first arrived and asked to see pictures she gave us magazine cut outs! I have like six eyelashes on one eye and 4 on the other! My real eyelash lady has had to order me a 40 dollar serum to try to make my real eyelashes grow back! This Lady don't have a clue what she is doing don't do it if I could give 0 stars I would! On my part I should have asked to see her licence as I can guarantee she don't have one! I asked her was the lashes she was using mynx eye lashes as in real hair she informed me that they were my eyelash lady when having to soak the six pounds of glue off my eyes also informed me that was a lie! The glue she used burned my eyes as she didn't use the proper stuff to even do my eye lashes I am not one for bad reviews but I would like everyone to know that this place is a joke! If u want to leave with 6 pounds of glue and a stie in your eye and a week later be completely lashless lashes ruined beyond repair then by all means THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! read more

I was told $38 for a fill in and a pedicure because of a sale going on. However I walked out paying $51 (not including the tip). They started adding on things that was ridiculous. $3 for a 30 second cut down? Also they didn't inform me that the price would be different, if I would of know definitely wouldn't have gone there. They nickel and dime you for everything. Lady doing my finger nails had a terrible attitude and after saying that she hurt me several times while filing my nails down she continued to do the same thing not caring. The Lovely Nail located at 373 Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven, FL sucks. I asked for a Dip Powder Nail Set and the job was horrible. They filed my nails so much my fingers hurt. The very next day 2 nails cracked. The next day after that, they started to chip off. I went in to get a refund and they blame me for not going there sooner? I had my receipt and this is only the next day after they were close the day before, this is 4 days later. I called the second day and the lady I spoke to told me that I had to wait for the person that does the Dip Powder. Apparently she was not there that day. I never had this happen before. I have had Dip Powder done before and they last me up to 5 weeks. They definitively don't do a good job at all. One lady said she will fixed it??? Really? How? You going to file my fingers off? NO THANKS.... She said I was not getting a refund because the owner was not there. I told her I just wanted my card refunded. She then told me it took time to do them and her time was valued? But while I was there waiting on the chair "getting my nails done" she did 2 other people's nails. She kept telling me to just wait a minute. I waited One and 1/2 Hours. Your time is not more valuable than mine, so please tell that to someone else. I'll never ever go there again and I'll tell all of my friends not to go there either. Don't go there. They had no air conditioning my daughter and I got pedicures do and they start our water started doing my daughters pedicure and had employees sitting around doing nothing and started my pedicure 15 mins after hers. They also decided that having fast and furious on the tv when a 6 year old was in there was ok. The worst part they used a cheese grader on my feet gross. They were rude and constantly on their phones. Never Never again read more

Absolutely terrible! Everyone there worked at a snails pace. When it came time to do my nails, I asked three times for white tips and asked that they be very short, just at the tip of my finger. The elderly man who they assigned to me clearly didn't understand me. He first painted my nails clear and then tried to paint a French manicure. I said no, this is not what I asked for, please do a full set with white tips. He then tried to put acrylic over my bare nail. Finally, the woman working next to him explained it to him in his native language and he pulled out the white tips. The next problem was he glued them to the very tip of my natural nails, leaving very little white tip once they would be finished. Additionally, he did such a shoddy job gluing on the tip that two of them popped right off! Another woman then took over and finished things though I was now late to my next appointment due to these screw ups. When finished it was nothing that I asked for and they kept blaming me for it saying my nails are just too small and I had asked for longer, etc. They still charged me full price and I now have nails that look terrible! They finally offered to redo them if I come back on Sunday but I will NEVER be going back here! read more
