Came for the Saturday meat pie, but they were sold out. So we sat with a weiner combo $10.50 as we killed time before our next adventure. Weiners were tasty and definitely what we were looking for. Service was on par with what we're used to. Friendly. Fast. And they knew what was going on. It's a small town diner. Lots of stuff on the wall that shows how the time has passed.

Writing this one from the treadmill, trying to sweat it out So I'd go more 3.5, but due to extreme friendliness gave a round up. The chicken is most definitely pre-made/frozen generic stuff. The wieners are average, not bad though. I was a little taken back by my 'club' sandwich. It is anything but traditional. It was more like a chicken, bacon sandwich. Bummer, since I was really craving a traditional club‍Once and done for me personally. The locals were coming and going for the weiners, so it's a hometown spot for sure. That's all I have to say about that. Bon appetite!

Three wiener special is the way to go - with onion rings for sure! Staff are quintessential New Englander who greet you with a shout on your way in, and promise that the good natured verbal harassment is free of charge. Town is adorable, and perfectly used for the long walk you're going to need after this delicious but fat and salt laden meal!

I grew up eatting weiners from another establishment so I compare all weiners to the other places meat sauce which I love. It was a Friday night. We walked in and we're unsure if we order at the counter or if there is wait staff for tables. We sat down and then went to the counter. I had 2 weiners. I would prefer the onions chopped smaller and the meat sauce was very thin but a lot. Overall it was ok. We ordered a large fry... Not so large for 2 adults and a child to share. Then where do we pay? But I have to say kudos for keeping this place straight old school RI. Cluttered walls with all kinds of 'memorabilia', red booths and a juke box!

Used to be Better Of all of the greasy spoon wiener joints that infest the state of Rhode Island, this used to be my favorite. It's a guilty pleasure. However, something slipped here. I know it changed ownership recently, but the old owner still works here, so I don't know what happened. RI wieners are a very subjective item among natives. Everyone has a favorite joint, but this spot had the most consistent version. Not anymore. My last couple of visits, the product has been subpar. Buns not steamed enough, wiener a bit dry, and very salty sauce. For years, these issues weren't a problem, which set it apart from all of the others. Overall, they still serve a good wiener, and it's still a cool late night spot to grab some grease to cover up a night of drinking, but I think my heart is now with NY System in Olneyville. Thanks

I've been coming here for so many years I can't count. Back I the day they would line them up on their arm without any protection. The wieners still taste the same way I always remember. Something comforting about a place that has consistently makes food food.

My first time here.... Super cozy.... Everyone was friendly... Wieners for $1.40?!? U kidding me? Really good and tasty.... We are from ChiTown visiting my brother who lives in Cumberland. I'm so glad he brought us here. Before we leave next week, I wanna visit again :) yum

    Delicious late night treat!

I find that the ground meat doesn't have much flavor and instead dilutes the flavor of the wiener. The cheeseburger is delicous. My friend and I shared one but ended up getting another to share since we wanted more. The patty is grilled well (albeit thin), the cheese is melted, the lettuce and tomato are very fresh, and the mayo brings everything together. The fries were good, with a crispy outside and a soft inside. They do look pale, but don't let that fool you. The prices are affordable ($3 - $12), although it does add up since it's tempting to just keep ordering more "little" things. They do have a parking lot on the side of the building and plenty of seating inside. It gives retro vibes, so you definitely travel back in time a couple decades when you walk in. The staff is very efficient. They can handle multiple orders at once in a very timely manner.

Their omelettes, egg dishes, and breakfast sandwiches are consistently excellent -- the kind of reliably good breakfast you appreciate when you've got a full day ahead. It works equally well whether you want to sit down and ease into the morning or grab something quick on your way to wherever you're going. We decided to get the Weiner Tower which comes with choice of 5 weiners (except the high priced ones), fries and choice of 5 sauces. We got the Pizza dog, Pineapple express, Kimchi weiner, BBQ cheddar weiner, and El jefe. All the hot dogs were delicious but i particularly liked el jefe personally. Fries were nice and crispy outside and sauces were great. Service was good and our waiter was quick and attentive. Overall it's a pretty good place. Food is good and service is good. Kayem originated in Mass btw. I always appreciate loyalty to in state makers. The classic George's dog is mustard, meat sauce and chopped onions. Standard white bun. I've seen mixed messages online about how you're supposed to order that dog. I've seen "All the Way." (Which is also how they say it in Providence). I've seen "Three Up", which is a new one for me. But the Menu actually says that a Coney is mustard, meat sauce and onions. So I ordered two coneys and everything worked out fine. The hot dogs were good, both in terms of the components, and in the sum of their parts. My dogs were not particularly snappy. I could see a grill mark. So perhaps it just needed a bit more turning so that it was more well done. Kayem is a good hot dog in terms of flavor. I prefer some other New England brands though. The meat sauce is good, but the seasoning didn't pop for me in the way that my favorite meat sauces do. I'm sure part of this is what you grew up with though. George's is a cool, old school, hot dog joint, that I imagine still does it like it always has. If that's how you like your hot dog spots, I suspect you'll love George's. 4.25 Stars
