Originally I reached out to Wells Fargo for my mortgage needs, but after a lack of communication with the mortgage consultant I decided to look elsewhere. I'm so glad I did. From the moment I met Fernando and Luz I felt at ease. As a first time homebuyer I felt lost and had so many questions. Fernando and Luz were always a text or phone call away. They did a great job explaining everything in terms that I understood. It was also helpful that they were knowledgeable in teacher down payment assistance programs. During our escrow process we ran into some issues, but Luz and Fernando did everything in their power to make sure we were able to get our home. Not only are they professional and knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about their clients. If you are looking for a lender that is able to provide personalized genuine service Luz, Fernando and Christina make an excellent team! read more

NWM is the top mortgage company to work with as an agent! They are prompt, professional, quick and truly care about the clients they have. Our relationship has been nothing but positive and they have always been someone that I can count on to refer my clients too. Looking forward to the continued relationship with a company that values customer service as much as I do! read more

Eight weeks of our lives were wasted waiting for this company to do ANYTHING correctly. We would request updates and get nothing. We sent documents only to have the same documents requested again. Paperwork with our personal information was sent to an unknown email (the company is backing up on that saying it didn't go out). We are trying to build an ADU and went with this company because it was one of the eight on the list to get the 40K grant. We interviewed Luz, who seemed really on top of her game. Nothing could be further from the truth. I couldn't get updates on the status of the loan, the interest rate, or anything at all. Worst experience of our life and now we are 2 months behind on where we should be with building the ADU. Thank goodness I found a great broker and we are borrowing more money (to cover the lost 40K), but paying less. I am getting an interest rate at 1.125% less than quoted by this company AND closing in 17 days. Lots of promises and nothing else. read more

We were referred to New World Mortgage by our realtor Francisco. We had the pleasure of working w/Luz and her team, who we highly recommended when it comes to all your home loan needs. With this being our first home purchase, we are happy that it was them whom we had to work with. Their promptness, responsiveness and professionalism was absolutely excellent. They made the whole process seem easy, even with a few bumps along the way. Their support from the start (of getting pre-approved) and to the end (of funding our loan) was outstanding. Overall our first home buying experience was super. Thank you Luz and everyone else who made this possible. Looking forward to working with you all again... read more

Worse place ever. I try getting a loan about a year ago with them saying they could help me and stuff since I work in commission getting a loan was becoming an issue. They waisted my time and run my credit for nothing. I did get loan with another company and I'm happy with my house. This company keeps on sending me text messages every week asking me to go with them. I have requested to be remove from there text messages and nothing. Today they send me a yelp link so guess what your getting a yelp review and it's not a good one. read more

I had a horrible experience with Luz and Alex. Did everything I was asked in a prompt and timely manner, provided all documents and stayed in constant contact with Alex. I received a really weird call from one of their employed one day (because Luz didn't have the guts to call) to tell me they needed more money for a down payment (cause they knew I had it) they pulled my credit several times without authorization. Still enquiring with the BBB to see if anything they did (like pulling my credit w/out my consent) was fraudulent. Please stay away, not very professional. read more

I'm so happy to have been recommended to the team at New World Mortgage, I couldn't thank them enough for what they did for us. My husband and I went from almost having our offer (on the house I really really wanted) fall out of escrow because our credit union couldn't fund the loan (after they had already pre approved us). To happily living in the home I've always dreamt about. All because New World Mortgage came in and salvaged our deal! From the day we were initially contacted by Mike and Luz to discuss our situation, to how Patty snd Marie (their underwriting team) always kept us in the loop with status updates, we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience in the closing purchase of our fabulous new home! This whole situation reminded me of that Direct TV commercial. Don't go to the cable version of New World Mortgage and have the same nightmarish experience we did. We deserved the peace of mind that Mike, Luz , and the team at New World Mortgage provided us. read more

My husband and I decided to purchase another home and my friend recommended that we call for a pre-approval. I usually contact my bank, but it always takes a long time to hear back from someone and it's never been an easy process. Anyway, I gave it a chance! All that I can say is, why didn't I call them years back! The lady I spoke with was so personable and on top of everything. I'm used to having to follow-up, which was not the case, this time. I felt like she was one step ahead of me, which is rare. Exceptionally professional and knowledgeable! I've recommended them to several of my friends. read more

I had such an amazing experience with New World Mortgage that I can't rave about them enough. After having a dreadful experience with Wells Fargo and just about losing the home my wife wanted to purchase (because of their ineptness) New World Mortgage came in and saved the day. How a big institution can fail to give you the simplest service by returning emails and phone messages is beyond me. Worst of all how they can tell me I'm pre-approved for a loan when in fact I'm not is very unethical, wrong, and a nightmare I wish no one to go through. I was recommended to Luz by a friend after telling them about my struggles with Wells Fargo. Luz stepped in and quickly worked to resolve the issues I was dealing with. Luz and her team (Mike, Alex, Cesar, Patty, and Marie) were prompt to answer my questions and send me updates of how things were moving along. I can't thank them enough for being true professionals. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service that I was given here at New World Mortgage. I was buying the home of my landlord and they were able to help me complete this purchase. They helped me so much by answering any question I had and walked me through the process to make sure I was at ease throughout. They have a great staff and go out there way to make sure they have time for me when I drop in to ask them questions. I bought my home 6 month ago and I still come to ask questions. They always treat me so well with a smile and sometimes a pastry. I'm an older man that doesn't really understand much of these things that are sent to me through the mail and you can't put price on how comfortable they make me feel every time I walk in to ask questions. I'm so thankful for all their help and patience to explain things to me. read more
